Welcome Katie! You will find many good tools on this site to help you with your eating and fitness goals. The recipe site is great and each recipe provides nutrition breakdown. I REALLY recommend using the nutrition tracker...makes you make conscious decisions about what you're eating. So nice your husband is joining you at the gym...so far mine is joining me in some walks and is happy to eat what I'm eating so that encourages me. All the best!

Hi everyone,

I'm a 55 year old mom of 2 grown sons. Right now I am into the 3rd month of my 12th or 13th Weight Watchers membership (I've lost count) and ready to give up again because I keep losing the same 4 pounds over and over. I'm pretty sure I've tried everything by now. I read about this site in a magazine yesterday and it sounded like a great site so here I am. My biggest issues are Type-2 diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol, which are under good control with meds, and also osterarthritis. I had knee replacement surgery nearly a year ago, so I'm looking forward to finally being able to be more active again. My husband has finally started going to the gym with me, so I'm getting off to a much better start this year.
