If you have a Beachbody coach then make sure you get it from them because you get a free workout add to your order when you purchase it from a Beachbody Coach.

Insanity is an excellent program to get you into the best cardio condition. The biggest thing is that you will need to know when to take breaks and not push yourself into using the inhaler. If you are OK with taking extra breaks (which I do still) then Insanity will be fine. If you think that this is still too much then you could also look at TurboFire which is intense but not as insane as Insanity.

First of all - congrats on your progress with your workouts so far! It sounds like you're making progress with the Jillian workouts - her stuff is awesome.

Since you have exercise-induced asthma, you are going to need to gauge yourself throughout the Insanity program and might have to take longer breaks than the workouts provide. If you're curious about it - you can always try to YouTube the warm up (I know its there).

The warm up for Insanity runs about 10 minutes long and if you can make it through it then you should be just fine with the remainder of the workout. However, if you are struggling to breathe, you might want to condition your asthma a little more before you try Insanity.

Its a great program and I'm excited to see that you're interested in it. If you have any other questions, don't hesitate to ask!

the Zumba class I go to is an awesome workout. and I feel great afterwards. But its only 1 night :(

I only needed to use my inhaler that one time I did JM, so I'm hoping I should be ok. Just don't want to overdue it since I see alot of people saying how intense this program is.

Good for you! Jumba, walking & Jillian.

If you need a plan to do everyday, this might not quite be the right thing for you yet. I suck air and I can run a few miles. However, if you are someone who can pace themselves & accept that you might need to take more breaks than those on the tape (so you don't have to use your inhaler too much), you might be just fine. How much jumping around do you do in Zumba?

Hi! My name is Beth and I have been thinking of trying out the insanity program now for a few weeks. I was wondering if it would be a good workout for me to try out and who better to ask than people who actually use it :)

I have asthma and high bp, so I was wondering if this would be too hard core for me to try? I have only done Jillian Michaels 30 day shred before and after the first time I needed to use my inhaler, how embarrassing! But I haven't had to since. So besides walking and Zumba, that is it for exercise. I dont' want to overdue it by trying out some ridiculously hard workout and risk any health problems. I know I can just do it at my own pace, but I would like to know this before I put money and time into it.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! thanks :)
