Yeah, I've got my hands in little pieces of everything around the site. I want to keep things small so that I can focus on what works best for me, but for now I am getting overloaded with stuff so that I can figure which teams/people I vibe the best with.

emoticon This is a great team! I find very little ADD support in the real world, so it's great to come here & talk to other people who understand where I'm coming from & what I'm up against!

Personally, I have tried to cut out most SP things that don't directly support weight loss/eating correctly. So I don't read many blogs, have cut way back on teams. I always track my exercise and am trying to get back into the habit of tracking my food and my BG readings. I have had to take a long hard look at my time budget, and sort out what's important to me and what is nice but not necessary. That of course is different for everyone. Keep tinkering with the mix -- eventually you'll find a formula that's comfortable for you!

I always track my food but I don't track my exercising. Everyone is different! But whatever you think you want to do, we can help you figure it out.

Sparkfully Yours, Judi

emoticon Happy you joined our team. I do use the fitness tracker and nutrition tracker. I will say, as an ADDer, that I do sometimes forget to do it but I go back and try to catch up. Read Spark articles, watch Spark fitness videos, etc. You will find that this site has so much to offer.

Ha ha.
Welcome to the world of ADHDer's!
I'd start by thinking about what your specific goals are. For me, I almost exclusively use the blog posts. I have one to two teams I regularly post with, and then try to keep it simple from there. I don't log in food or exercise or some one with ADHD, I know I won't keep up with this for very long as consistency isn't my long suit. Plus, I'm a big believer in practicing intuitive focus, vs. logging stuff. Just my personal take.

So what are you looking for support with? What are your fitness goals?
For me and this team, I was just glad to meet other ADHD people who knew exactly what it felt like to deal with this issue.

Hello! I don't think I introduced myself here yet. I am new to SparkPeople and am still learning to navigate the site. I want to be involved with everything, but as you all know, one link leads to another and another and it is endless. I want to benefit from using the site, but also be a supporter to others as well. Hard to focus on one thing on here. I'm all over the place and it becomes very time consuming when I should be OUTSIDE getting some exercise.

I know I need the support here, so does anyone have any tips on using this site or stream-lining their activities on here in order to fully participate, but not have it be all-consuming? I tend to get really psyched about something, but get too much going on and end up quitting or accomplishing nothing.
