I JoJo, welcome to the team. I second the other sisters, if you must snack, make it something healthy. And the trick with the toothpaste does work. It may not get you through the whole night, but it will help you to eat less since you won't be hungry for about an hour.

Welcome to the team. You can snack on some raw veggies or fruit if eating at bedtime is a real problem for. I also read somewhere that if you brush your teeth when you feel hungry at bedtime, you will loose your taste for food because you teeth will be clean. Don't know if this works, but you might want to give it a try.

Snack on something or some things healthy at bed time instead of blowing it on bad things. Instead of sugary cookies you know will compromise your hard work try some carrot sticks, an orange, an apple or all three. If you have to overeat to feel better overeat on the good stuff. There should be no diet busters (bad food) in your house and if there is throw it all out.

Hi I'm jojo and i've just joined spark. I don't have a problem with being active, my problem is stress eating especially at bedtime. I would love to hear from you on strategies to deal with this problem. Also, I'd just love to get and give encouragement to others. I've always had to fight with my wieght and have won before and I know I can win again.
