Hi there!
I am a returner. It's been about 5 years, I believe. I am now 45, and weigh 5 lbs more than I did when I walked in to the hospital to give birth to my 7 year old. Ugh. I haven't really cared until recently. But now I can FEEL it. Something needs to change!
I have promised myself not to get obsessed with numbers and calories for now. Just make those changes. Small steps. This week, I am not using the food tracker, but I AM being more conscientious about what I am putting in my mouth. I bought some hard candy (Werthers) to suck on to quench the sweets cravings instead of getting a candy bar from the vending machine. I am only allowing myself 1 diet soda a day for now. And today, I walked 2.5 miles and burned over 300 calories. No big inclines, not running a marathon, but slow and steady wins the race, right? I can't even remember when the last time was that I actually exercised on purpose. So, it's a start and I am proud of myself for finally starting.
