I'm also a teacher!

I started making smoothies with a Nutribullet from Bed Bath and Beyond- use the coupons! Make sure you add spinach- it makes everything greeen but you can't taste it!

Something that got me inspired to juice was the movie Fat, Sick, and Nearly Dead- you can watch online or stream from Netflix. It really made me want to make a change.

There is also a great website that you can watch the movie or read the forums- people post there daily: Jointhereboot.com

There are also juicing apps for your phone!

Best of luck to you! I am looking forward to juicing for breakfast and lunch at school. Since there is no time to go out for lunch and our cafeteria food is gross, this should make it easier!

Hi I am not the queen of smoothies but I do understand where you are

I purchased a Ninja Blender from Walmart for 89 dollars and it was great! I splurged last year for a vitamix and it was worth the investment. When you are ready for that level go to QVC or to the vitamix website they have a 3 pay plan. I did not find out until I had paid the money.

Websites......well there are so many. Just google smoothies and you will get a plethera of sites. And as far as them trying to sell you somethin...take what you need and dont worry about what they are trying to sell you. If you are on facebook do the same , I have found many. I have read info on this site as well and they have a lot of great info here.
Hope this helps. Feel free to inbox me if you have more thoughts! I am not the expert but I have learned a lot so far

Does anyone use this board? I'd love to hear what people recommend for a short juice fast.

I feel like I don't know where to start reading on this team board, but I already love all the ideas and passion for juice and smoothies. I haven't started anything yet, but want to try a short juice fast/cleanse/kickoff/whatever-It's-called before I go back to school (I'm a teacher). After reading more on these boards, I'm intrigued with the idea of juicing or smoothies for breakfast/lunch at school. Any ideas on where I should start this journey? Money is tight right now, so buying a juicer is out of the question. Maybe I can get one for the day after Thanksgiving sales! Until then, what brands should I buy? Are there special vitamins or things I should do if I try the fast? A website I can go to perhaps to get information? I want solid, safe info vs. a webpage designed to sell me something. Thanks for any input you can give.
