Hi my name is Debbie and an so out of control, that I'm hoping this process helps. Have the Kindle version and in the middle of printing out the quick start guide and workbook.

More to come I'm sure!

Just going to go cold turkey no pizza, will have to be creative with good Friday night night easy but not fast food meals.

Thinking I might do casseroles that I can make Thursday night, and then put in the oven Friday or maybe fish, my family loves fish.

The good thing about pizza was we always had left overs for lunch the next day, so I have to make sure I have an easy lunch for Sat too.

Actually this Friday is a no brainer, meeting friends for dinner, so my kids are on their own.

have you decided what you'll have instead? I'm thinking there are lots of 'healthy pizza' type recipes around - one I am going to try myself is just aubergine (eggplant) slices topped with the sauce, cheese, herbs etc for a sort of 'pizza' experience.

But, I guess if you want to 'kick the habit' then a pizza-like substitute is probably not the answer!

I am giving up pizza for lent, no I am not catholic or any other denomination that does the lent thing, but it seems like a good idea. We have gotten into a bad habit in this family of having pizza delivered or picking up pizza at the grocery for Friday night dinner.

I am not saying we will not go back to this bad habit, but I have to break it and hopefully pizza will be a once in awhile thing instead of weekly.

My lunches at the same every day because I get a salad and have a sugar free jello 270 cals day in and day out at work.

I am thinking of different ways to regulate the weekly dinners. The bowls sound interesting, was reading up on Bento Boxes, sort of a fix all my meals on weekends, then only have to reach in the freeze, micro heat and eat, already measured but home cooked, I do not like store bought frozen meals, they taste nasty to me.

Breakfast is also the same each morning, just my dinner that I need to simplify.

Discovered using bowls from 21day diet is a great idea
I bought these in nov never used them holidays, busy
So yesterday instead of a small plate the 1/2 bowl for meals or snacks
More exercise ( forced myself) I lost 3 pounds
Is this why?
More water thought about food choices
After 10 talked myself into a smoothie filled me up and did not reach for sweets

I have been to the doctor 2x and we agree I am allergic to something, but what????

The hives themselves are the biggest stress right now, at least no more stress than normal. Keeping my fingers crossed that stopping all meds, clearing them out of my system and then reintroduce one at a time will do the trick to figure this out.

I agree do what works for you, my problem is finding what works first, and then these darn hives. I wish I could not eat or drink anything, take any meds then I would have nothing to be allergic to, then these stupid hives would go away. grrrr (sigh) frustrating, but I will figure this out and get on track with my weight loss.

Meantime I am getting in some minor exercise.

Not great, not bad trying to figure out some things about these hives, trying to figure out what I am allergic to so I can stop getting them. First things first, trying to curb my constant craving for sweets, which I am not giving in to, but still craving.

Making a start on my list....

3. To protect my joints and remain flexible
4. To have greater stamina
5. To engage in walking and energetic activities with my Hubby
6. To be able to play fully with my grandchildren

I'm looking forward to a bright start to the year with my 100 days.
