I have not been on this for over a year. The details in my life has changed but I am the same with the same struggles. I will focus on today. I will eat 3 meals and 3 snacks today. I will call someone who is hurting. Work in the yard a little and the garage a little and the kitchen a little. It is one month before my 61 birthday. The gift I will give myself is to be working this program. My meals are planned and I will eat and enjoy them. Know that the cravings are going to come. Do not have to act on the urge.

Day 13 time to work the program again. Went to the eye doctor. I went to him when i was in my 20s. now i am pushing 60. he thinks i might have glacoma and need to come in for further testing. felt like crying. looked around for new glasses. too hard to decide which one. ate 2 99c tacos at a taqueria. enjoyed them. waitress said if i had 3 i could get the chips and salsz. told her no thanks.

Yesterday I ate candy all day. Today I am feeling better and focused on the goal ahead. Food does not help problems. I had a plan and I stuck to the plan. Have one hummus and tangerine left for a snack.

guess others use this to say about what day they are on and think about it. I have been hovering at day 8. Have not been reading the book or journaling. Felt like eating fast food. Did not eat it. Went home to have a healthy lunch instead. craved candy but haven't bought it yet. I weigh 212 today, exercised really hard. Today I will go volunteer at school, walk the little dogs. Make a shopping list and find some recipes to cook. Shop if the money is in the account. read my Day 9 in the book. do a little housework. relax and treat my eating plan as a top priority.

Did the plan yesterday and went to a pumpkin patch for the large pumpkin. Car started making noises. Ed wanted to take it in before 5;30, I neeeded dinner. He won. Came home famished ate a chicken tamale. No veggies and looked around for sweet treats. We carved the 3 small pumpkins. No time spent where Ed and I even talked alone. It is so lonely in this marriage. No car today so no gym. Will do some cleaning around here instead today. I will decide on better food to eat for today. Will eat last of Chinese food and not a taco or tamale for dinner.

Went to a Yurt at a state park to detox last week. Did great when I came back until my birthday Saturday. Had chinese food and a piece of b.b. cake. Yesterday took my live-in granddaughter to a pumpkin patch with a friend. She danced there. Lots of chaos and fun. Did well on the eating except for when we ran out of money and could only pay for 3 small pumpkins and 1 large. Maybe if i had not spent $5 on a bag of kettle corn. It was totally an impulse decision. Laceabeth was unhappy with giving the big pumpkin to the friend. I was famished. whipped up a couple of tacos for dinner. not enough veggies to fill up on. the b. cake was calling me. I had a small piece. Ed went out for a run. I had a couple of bowls of the kettle corn. Did not touch the whole bag tho. The whole weekend is kid centered. soccer game on Sat. Laceabeth brought a friend to dinner for my birthday. I got tired of the friend by Sunday night. Lesson learned-- another plan for the free cake from the financial planner for next year. kettle corn is a red light food. I do not need it my house. I could have gone on the computer when ED went to run. Did not need to return to old habits. Plan for today. Have breakfast. Do my reading Day 9. Journal my food. Take Laceabeth to school for band practise at 8 run to the gym. Plan something more than tacos for dinner. Possibly walk the little dogs for a short walk. Enjoy the fall day.. emoticon
