Day 2

Am I interested or committed. I really had to think about this one all day. If I'm committed to going to work, taking care of my family, and home, and if I'm committed to being a good friend, why shouldn't I be committed to myself. Is my family more important than me? Are my friends more important than me? The old me would have said yes, of course they are. I used to be that way, but now I'm now different. I am important. I deserve to take care of myself the way I take care of others. After all, by taking care of myself, both physically and mentally, I believe I will be able to care for others better.

I did good today. No overeating, or emotional eating. Weigh in day is tomorrow, and I KNOW it will be a good one. Tried to find the book Food is easy Life is hard, but I couldn't find it in any store I went to, and the library didn't have it either. I'd order it online, but my husband is so worried about identity theft, that online buying is a no no in this house. I'm very disappointed. I really wanted that book.

Day 1

I guess day 1 went pretty well. I didn't over eat. I'm actually below my minimum calorie requirement for the day. Partly because I was at work, and I can't eat while I'm working. My days off are usually the days that I slip up. I'm working on changing my thoughts, and attitude. I know I can do this. I'm not going to get halfway to my goal weight and quit again, only to regain the weight I lost in record time.

I USED TO BE THAT WAY, BUT NOW I'M DIFFERENT!!
