I've been reading SK for so long, I can't say I remember the first book of his I read,,, I would have to say the book of short storys, like lawnmower man - Night Shift,,, . I was on Night shift at the time.

Hi Donna, welcome to the dark side!

Hi everyone. I thought I'd died and gone to heaven when I found this Spark Team. I've been overweight my whole life since the age of twelve or so (about twenty pounds but I'm five one so every pound looks like five) and last year I was finally, finally in shape. I had changed jobs and was delivering mail, walking six miles a day in the lovely Florida heat and humidity. Then I got hurt and I've been out of work for almost a year. I'm getting used to being in chronic pain and to my horror, realised that I have gained twenty five pounds.

I joined this site six years ago and promptly disappeared but I have come to the understanding that I need support and help to do this. I keep trying to start on my own and it's not working for me. So I'm here.

Carrie was the first book I read by Stephen. We had just moved to America from Ireland and I was a homesick fourteen year old. I found the novel in a second hand bookshop and have never looked back. Stephen King was my first love.

Anyway, I'm Donna and I'm very happy to be here. Cheers!
