Hey all,

I like to run marathons I have run 2 fulls and countless halves, focusing on the full right now. I want to BQ in 2016. My goal right now is to lose ~ 5-10 lbs and get my per mile pace down to ~730 for the 10k (road) then keep the strength training up so the full pace stays comfortably around 8 for a fall 2016 BQ run. (812 is BQ pace for my age group.)

I train on trails with my German Shepherd dog when I can, I used to exclusively trail train for my first full. When we are training for a race, my Shepherd can go up to 12 miles with me, he has been training with me since he was 2 years old.

Just looking to find like-minded people and stay motivated, since life seems to keep getting busier! Any advice or tips from other runners are helpful for keeping your weight down after running for years (I find cardio doesnt help me lose weight anymore bc I am just used to it!), and staying fueled for the run while losing fat (balance is hard!).
