emoticon I just got my first hikes in of the season this week! You really need snowshoes for anything heavy and I am not there yet either. I too have to start over running as I have been way too inconsistent and lost my conditioning. I am on 2:1 or 3:1 lap intervals on the Y track and I have not tried to run on the trails yet. Sucks starting over, but GREAT to get back out there!

Thanks Debby! Nope...I guess I couldn't it.

We're looking forward to snow this weekend too...right now it looks like a huge band of snow is either going to nail us here in the north, or slip south and get Southern Ontario.

Selfishly, I hope it stays south, lolol

Couldn't stay away Beth huh? J/k, welcome back! I understand the snow. But spring is on the way! (but they are predicting snow for us on Saturday) Hang in there! We will all be out on the trails soon!

Hello folks! I joined this team quite a while back with every intention of starting my train running journey, but life got in the way of my fitness commitment and I forgot to put myself first.

So, I'm trying again.

I'm Beth, I like to run, but I'm starting over as a runner
I love to hike...that much hasn't changed.

I hope to combine them both, with a little help from the good folks here on the forum, once the snow has melted down a bit. I get the hardcore trail running thing...I really do, but around here the snow is still knee deep in the woods. ;)

Nice to meet and remeet you!
