I am new to this team. My name is Daryn and I am the mom of a wonderful 17 month old little boy named Keaton. I have managed to shed my baby weight, but I was kinda "fluffy" to begin with and I am having the hardest time losing this weight. I joined this team to make new friends, talk about our funny kid stories, and to find encouragement and new ideas on how to change my habits with food and exercise.

Hi there beautiful Mommies!!
I just became a Mom to a wonderful and amazing little girl named Austin who is almost 11 months old now!! Ohhh, I can't believe she is going to be a year old already!!
Before I became pregnant, I was in pretty good shape, weighed a little more than I would like to, but felt healthy and mostly confident. I worked out and walked throughout my pregnancy until I swelled like a puff pastry and my legs hurt so bad it was all I could do to work as a nurse all day! I ate sweets and junk my whole pregnancy and it sure caught up with me when I stopped being so active.
Well, now I am still 25 pounds over my pre-pregnancy weight and my joints are still hurting because I am so heavy! I am a breastfeeding mommy, and instead of losing weight, I just keep eating more and more, and gaining more and more! I want to become active again, but it hurts to get started...normally I like the ache of a good workout, but it's different now.
I've always had a sort of obsession about food, but before I would avoid junk because I was afraid of what people would think if they saw me eating it. I did binge sometimes when I was alone, but it's nothing like I do now...except now I do it in front of people and feel completely helpless when I do it! I'm becoming afraid of my lack of willpower and afraid of what type of role model I am to my daughter!!
I'm hoping Spark and these teams will help lift me up and help me gain control again!
Shew....that was really long winded...sorry! lol

Hello! I'm Robyn. I'm a 29 year old mom of a 6 week old baby girl. She is my first child. I was doing great loosing weight before I became pregnant, but gained a ton of weight durring my pregnancy. I have been trying to breastfeed, but I have been battling a low milk supply and have to suppliment her with formula. I love being a mom, but I know in order to be the mom I want to be I need to be the ME I want to be.

Hi my name is Rebecca. I have a lovely 6 month old son. Right before I got pregnant I moved to Switzerland with my husband. I quickly discovered all of the delicious chocolate and cheese. Then I got pregnant and gained the pregnancy weight, PLUS the chocolate/cheese weight, PLUS the, 'Jeez I'm really homesick and want my family to be near me when I am pregnant' weight. Goodness, what a mess. Anyhow, I had high hopes that the weight would melt away as I was exclusively breastfeeding. Unfortunately, I am one of the women whose body HOLDS the weight whilst breastfeeding. So now my little sweetie is 6 months old and has teeth. His favorite place to chew? Me. Therefore, I have weaned him and now I am ready to get off of this crazy weight train...and become fit, fit, fit!

Hi - I am mommy to a wonderful 1 week old - born 9/30/10. I am currently up to 170 from my pre pregnant weight of 138. I am a runner and love to exercise. But going from my most fit healthy place (pre-pregnancy), to my absolute worse physical health in 9 months is rough. I had serious morning sickness for 6 months and was unable to exercise at all.

Now that my precious little one is here, I am excited to get going with my physical health again. Just trying to be patient with my body, as its recovering from the birth still.

I've been a bit of a blob lately, all my good habits going out the window with me going back to work... travelling for work... chasing kids around at the end of a long day....

I'm sure we've all had days like this week... kids not sleeping, baby's teething, and I'm supposed to find the energy to get my heart rate up - I'd rather be face down on the couch....

Sigh, what do you do to stay motivated when you're tired out?

I'm a relatively new mom to a 5-month old boy named David. He is wonderful, and I feel so proud of all he has had to endure in his short life (read my blogs if you're really interested).

I'm 27 and soon to be 28 in December. I had David through a C-Section, and he was premature. We've had a lot to contend with in his medical care, and I have been slacking on the time I should devote to myself.

Today I managed to do a 40-minute workout from the ones on Spark, go swimming a little bit and go for a walk for a half hour. I'm doing pretty well as of today, and I'm hoping to keep it up so I can drop the weight I gained from meds and from pregnancy.

Volunteering is the rent you pay for your space on earth!

Hello all! I'm a new mama to a beautiful 4 month old baby girl, married 4 years to a wonderful man I've know for 10, and this is a return to SP for me. My weight has crept into the 160s in the last few years and after another 28 lbs during my pregnancy, I still have most of that on me too. Need to lose about 60 lbs, including this baby weight. Ugh. Need motivation, time management tips and lots of prayers! lol...

Never give up on a dream just because of the length of time it will take to accomplish it. The time will pass anyway.

HI everyone! I am just getting started with sparkpeople and love it so far. I am only on day 4, but I have already dropped a few lbs. Holding myself accountable for what I am eating really seems to be working!! I have struggled with weight all my life and I am hoping this is the step I need to find my inner hot mamma! I have a 4 year old and just had my 2nd baby in July. I cannot be the fat mommy anymore!!!

Hello all. My name is Angel. I am 34 and have 4 kids at home ( 13, 12, 11, and 10 )as well as 2 large Dogs, a toroise some fish,and hubby. I am a stay at home mom and always seem to have too much time or not enough time. After 4 years of trying I finally quit smoking but gained a lot of weight in the effort. I finally got sick and tired of this weight and am trying to stay motivated and on track to lose it. Underneath my is a stunning 130lb woman and I really miss her and her little jeans a lot!!! Hello Everyone! My name is Shauna and I have an amazing 7 month old baby boy, he is my blessing. I was in the process of losing weight when I became preggers and was able to keep the weight gain at 30lbs. However, I've only been able to lose about 20 of the 30lbs. My goal is to lose the unwanted 35lbs I am currently carrying by the end of the year. With a short-term goal of losing 15-20lbs by the middle of November!

Good morning! My name is Renee and I'm 26 years old (27 in October). I've been married for 4 years and have a beautiful 10 month old baby girl. I've been a spark member since 2008 but I took a break once Olivia was born. Spark helped me lose 20 lbs before she was born and now I'm back to try and lose the rest of this baby weight! It's not much but I'm going back to work next month after being away on maternity leave for a year, and my work clothes are a little tight. My current weight is 143 and my goal weight is to get down to at least 130-135, (130 pre-baby), so it shouldn't be "too" bad. But I know once you get down that low it can be quite difficult to lose.
I've already read a few posts from other mommas and I'm so glad I joined this group! Let the process begin =)

Hey y'all, I'm Kathy. I'm 27 (soon to be 28 in November), married for almost five years with a 3 year old daughter and 2 year old son. I work full time outside of my home, and my house is a mess, but my babies help clean up their toys (yay). LOL! I have been on my weight loss journey since the end of January 2010. I started at 224, and now weigh about 181. Goal weight#1 is 160. If I like how that feels, I'll focus on toning up. If not, I'd like to get to 150 before toning up. I'm looking for vast improvement in my tummy pooch after having two c-sections :)

I'm new to this team but not to spark. I've been on here for a while. I finally got to the point where I am just SICK of being chunky. Sick of feeling umcomfy in my clothes.

I want to lose the last 10lbs and be DONE with it. I started walking/running, riding my bike, stationary bike, denise austin dvd's and other videos.

My name is Josie, I have a 5 month old son. I am 26, been married for almost 2 years. I've lost almost 50lbs so far, my goal is to reach 145lbs, I am about 17lbs away from my goal. Hi my name is Krystal. I am a mother to a beautiful 21 month old son I have gone through two pregnancies and have become very out of shape after this last one that ended in miscarriage. yet I still have all the negative effects that go along with the stretching and gaining weight. I am trying to get healthy for my son and get back into shape quickly so that I can keep up with his boundless amounts of energy. I have been rollerblading for and hour every morning five days a week along with walking as well. I look forward to getting to met other moms that are going through similar issues with toning up after having our little ones. I find my little man to be my greatest inspiration.

Hi. I just gave birth to my first 3 months ago. When I got pregnant I was at my heavist at 189, got up to 236 and am now at 190. I would like to lose 40-50#s to get back to a comfortable weight again.

I've never been this big before, I feel totally miserable. It doesn't help that my cousin had her son 6 months I had my daughter and she's already lost her weight...it makes me feel like a failure. Hi my name is Wendy and I am a 28 yr old mother of 2 young boys (6 and 4). I am trying (again) to get healthy. I put on 120 lbs with my first pregnancy and never got rid of all the weight. I keep bouncing back and forth from 200-220 and would really like to make it to 150 and stay there. Although 140 would really be nice that's the smallest I've ever been.

I am a stay at home mom which helps and hurts me on getting healthy. My main thing has to be to focus and willpower! And hopefully all the things that I know will fall into place.

Hello Everyone, I have been fighting my weight for about 6 years now. I have two daughters aged 9 and 6. I've been on so many diets...lost the weight and gained it all back everytime. I have been so miserable and my body image is horrible. It affects my confidence in myself, my marriage, and my career as well being I'm in the military and have to be within their weight standards. I muster up the strength to pass the PT test but its always after so many practice failed attempts. I just want to get myself back, I want my husband to be attracted to me again. I don't want FAT to be the 1st words my daughter thinks about when they think about mommies appearance. I pray that I can beat this......and I hope that I can actually stick with the changed lifestyle.......We'll see wish me luck!!! I'm cheering you all on.

OK, here goes... this is my first time posting on any spark teams. I am a returning spark member also, I lost 25 lbs in 2008, it really worked for me! My goal was to lose any extra weight before I got pregnant, so I was successful there! But then I got pregnant last year, and had my sweet baby boy in January of this year. I have been slacking on trying hard to lose the baby weight... but not anymore!! He is 6 months old now, and I have no more room for excuses. I have at least 30 lbs to lose now, and I could honestly afford to lose more than that, but I have to remind myself to take baby steps, otherwise I will never make it. Wish me luck!!

Hello-I am a mommy to a 10 month old daughter and really need to get serious about losing some weight. About 10 years ago (I am 30) I was a size 8, then when I got to 12 I said that is it I will do better well now I have 100 lbs to lose and really need some outside motivation. Hello all! I am a mom of two, ages 8 and 4! Over the last year I have had a lot of personal things going on, and really let myself go....I am ready to get back in to my clothes that I love and sit in my closet because I can't fit in to them!

Hi!!

I am a returning spark member. I lost about 50 pounds with Spark 2 years ago before my wedding and have Never been is better shape- Then, I had two beautiful baby boys in the past 2 years (9months and just turned 2). Now it is time to get my body toned back up and drop a good 50 more pounds!

My hubby and I signed up for a half marathon in Oct- so I am hoping between spark and that committment I can really succeed! Bring on the challenges!!!!!!

Goals:
Increase my weekly mileage while toning up this post two-under-two baby body!

I'm a mommy of two married for just over seven years. While pregnant with my first child, I gained 60 lbs and only lost five, but went down four pant sizes, when I got pregnant with my second. I gained another 30 lbs with my second and have had trouble losing the weight and keeping it off. I had dropped over 35 lbs, but put back on about 20. I have kept off the pant sizes, though. I am hoping to find support and a reason to keep up the fight here!

I'm now a stay at home mommy.. of two kids, 8yr old boy and 3yr old girl.. I'm going to be turing 30 soon, and I really need to start thinking about myself and lose some of this weight i have gained..

Hello!
I'm Brita and my daughter was born on St. Patrick's Day 2010. I gained about 40 pounds during pregnancy, but lost 20 pounds the first week or so. I now have 20 left to prepregnancy, plus about another 20 to get to my goal weight. Sometimes I get depressed and feel overwhelmed by losing weight, other times I'm very driven and determined!

Hi, I'm Katrina and I have a 5 month old daughter. I gained 35 pounds while pregnant and have lost about 15 of them (all during the first 2-3 weeks). I'm currently 157 and want to get back down below 140 which is where I was pre-pregnancy.

Hi everyone.

My name is Toni and I have an 11 week old son, Liam. During pregnancy I gained a whopping 20kg! I am very thankful I had lost 13kg by the time I left hospital, but I have only managed to budge 2 more kg since then. The ammount of sugary foods I eat does not help at all!

And the fact that I find very little time to exercise and its too cold to take him out walking (plus I am terrified of magpies!). I am going back to my pole dance class tonight, and will return to dance class, just need to build up a good supply of expressed milk!

58kg is my pre-preg weight, but I would really like to get back to 56. my clothes fit way better at this weight :P

Hey, I'm Pepper. My baby girl turned one on the 18th and I still haven't lost all of my pregnancy pounds. We would like to get pregnant again soon and I need to lose at least 10 pounds in the next two months. I still don't fit into my pre-pregnancy jeans and it's driving me crazy. I've started wearing some of my husbands shirts because I don't like mine tight and don't want to buy bigger clothes. I need some motivation!

Hi, my name is Heather. I'm a new mother. My daughter is 2 months old. I need help losing the weight from my pregnancy, and Spark makes it easy to do even with an infant :) If anyone has any tips for me I would love them emoticon

Hello my name is Katie and I am a single mom to a very active 4 year old. I can't seem to get rid of the "winter weight" that I put on over the winter and I do want to be a wowwy :) I am 150 and would like to be 130 or less... but the number isn't a huge concern for me as how my clothes fit and how confident I feel. I really want this to work this time and I am determined to make it happen.
