Hi Sharon, welcome to the team!
To help keep your motivation going, do NOT overwhelm yourself. SP has a lot to offer, take time to get familiar with it. Don't try to learn it all the first few weeks.

Two important features are the nutrition and fitness tracker. The nutrition tracker helps you track your calories, and other nutritional information. The fitness tracker helps track your calories burn in exercise and other activities. They can be your best friends as long as you are accurate in using them.

Start yourself off by making a few small changes in what you eat and in exercise get comfortable with those. then make a few more small changes. Over a few months all those small changes will really add up!

Hello! My name is Sharon. I'm a second-semester college student and Missouri State University - West Plains. I decided that I really wanted to start taking control of my body and my weight at the end of last year, so fingers crossed I can keep that motivation through all of 2015!

I made the mistake of not looking at a few of the other postings before starting my own, so forgive me if I miss a format of how I'm supposed to do this.

A few other things about me are that I was born and raised in Missouri, and still living here right now. I love to knit, and I'm really really loving college, which is kind of surprising since I didn't really like high school that well. But oh well, it's working out now! Hope you all have a great day.
