Good morning my dear spark friends here,
Thinking of all of you fondly today. Hoping you all are having a nice day. It's very breezy and windy and cold here . We are at around 20 right now may hit high of 28.
So cold so bundling up with layers everyday. We have our older sons boxer with us taking care of her. She is a year and a half years old and very playful.
Snow and rain mix predicted for tomorrow into Sunday morning. Ugh..there goes the flare ups . Oh well got to adjust how I handle my day . I've had advanced fibromyalgia for over 28 years . It's ok I learned how to deal with it everyday. One day at a time I get through ny activities . Some days are better than others.
Stay well and warm everyone.
/Denise

Good afternoon my dear spark friends here,
Thinking of all of you fondly today. Hoping you all are having a nice day today.
Today is sunny and 43 with a bit of a chill in the air.
I got weighed in this morning at my ww workshop and lost another 0.4 pounds.
It's been a hard road for me to lose the weight .
I'm determined and not giving up.
It just creeps off slow .
I've had my ups and downs at times but I keep moving on.
I exercise at Curves and walk whenever possible.
I find the cold winter weather the worse for my flare ups.
I'm not taking any medication .
I take magnesium Malate and glucosamine chrondotin .
I also use a Lidocaine spray occasionally.
My key for me is to keep active.
I know everyone has their own pain levels so it may not be feasible for everyone.
Just do what you can do. One day at a time.
Trying hard on my weight loss journey.
Have a nice day everyone.
/Denise

Hi I’m Ashley! I’m 31 and was diagnosed with fibro about 8 or 9 years ago, shortly after my aunt was diagnosed with it. It’s been rough, not always but winter seems to be the worst season for me. I hope everyone else is doing well.

Good afternoon! We're having crazy weather here. It was sleeting much of the day yesterday, and right now it's 60 degrees F. With a thunderstorm predicted for tonight!

@DIETER27. I hope your hubby has a wonderful birthday! The turkey you're fixing sounds delicious, and having leftovers is a big plus! YUMMY!

I have discovered the older I get the harder it is to lose the weight! However, I keep working at it, and it's very slowly working. Together we can do this!

Pat

We will have left overs for a couple days.
I don't stuff it I put lemon in the cavity and then rosemary and minced onion on it.
It comes out moist and tasty .
Yum looking forward to it.
We have been cleaning up around our house.
Donating old clothes that no longer fit today .
It feels good.

Checking in today.
Sorry Its been a very busy time here so haven't been online.
Hoping you all are having a nice day today.
It's cloudy and overcast here and right now around 37.
It's supposed to hit around 44 here later.
We are having work done in our kitchen caulking around our counter space.
Then caulking around counter and sink in the master bathroom.
We had a shingle outside fixed because it fell off .
All of this to make the house look better.
More cleaning around the house yesterday .
Tiring work but well worth it.
Today I am relaxing and taking a break.
Plan on cooking a six pound Turkey tomorrow for my husband's birthday.
emoticon to Tom tomorrow he will turn 67.
emoticon Skinny thinking going on here today.
Remember you don't have to solve your whole life overnight.
You don't have to feel ashamed if being where you are right now.
All you have to focus on is one small thing you can do today to get closer to where you want to be.
Slowly and lightly just One step at a time. You can get there!
Oh this quote is from Oprah Winfrey " You don't become what you want , You become what you believe."
Just some Motivational quotes for all of you dear spark friends.

Have a nice day everyone and God bless you all.

Checking in today .
Hoping you all are having a nice day today.
Happy and Healthy New Year to you all.
Thankful for a bit milder temperatures here.
Cold weather causes major fibromyalgia flare ups.
I use lidocaine spray at night.
I don't want to take medication with all the side effects.
I certainly am not going to knock anyone.
It's just my choice to do things naturally .
I use magnesium Malate and glucosamine chronditin.
I get n my exercise as much as possible.
Best of Luck to everyone here.
Have a nice weekend everyone.

@AZFIRERAVEN. I, Too, am overweight and over stressed! Last week when we had some frigid temperatures my fibro. Really got much worse! It seems like no matter what I did, or medications I took, the pain was just There constantly! Fortunately, the past couple of days are milder and that is helping somewhat.
I'm hoping that together we all can be encouraging to everyone and come up with different things that night help someone else!

I am 65 and have had fibromyalgia for 28 years along with arthritis all over my body.
Some days are worse than others particularly in the winter and rainy or cold temperatures.
But then again the pain has been chronic all the time. I have been exercising at Curves for over 21 years four to five days a week and walking also.
I also do.Weight watchers to lose weight.
I'm new here and my name is Denise.
I live in New York with my husband and have two sons.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

I have fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed in the 90's although I have had it a lot longer than that,,Some days are worse than others..I tend to feel in more pain in the winter. I feel better when the days are warm and I see the sunshine. I have had just about every symptom of fibro. I have good days and bad days.. I am married, my husband has dementia which is added stress for me.. I try to get in some exercise everyday by walking my dog..I have to rest when i can and try to have to eat healthy and keep a positive attitude of gratitude.
