Congrats on your new addition. And good luck going dairy free.

I've found that some moms who need to reduce or cut out dairy find a difficult time eating enough fat to be and remain satisfied after eating. Then they begin to eat large amounts of more starchy/processed foods to remain satisfied. I understand that adding protein to each meal helps a lot. Good luck!

Hello!

My name is Juliann, mother of 2 preemies- first DD was 10 weeks early and is now 3 years old, and second DD was 7 weeks early and is now 8 weeks old. Getting both kids breastfeeding was difficult to say the least because of their prematurity. I felt it was a huge accomplishment to nurse my first for a whole year!

My second little one just had her 2 month check up today and we found out she has a dairy sensitivity issue, so I'm having to go dairy-free- a new concept for me because I LOVE my dairy foods- cheese, yogurt, ice cream, even bread! I guess dairy free will help me lose weight! I'm just glad to see a forum for other BF mom's here!
