Not crazy at all-I nursed my 1st for 1 yr, 2nd for 2 yrs, 3rd for 3.5 yrs and now my 4th is nursing strong at 15 mos.

The World Health Org now recommends nursing for 2 yrs and the rest of world thinks it quite normal to nurse until age 5! emoticon It's just the US that gets hung up on nursing for 1 yr or less.

Hi and welcome! Not so strange at all. I assumed I would wean my son at 12 months, but we just kept going and he self-weaned at 22 months.

It's not so strange to me. My son didn't end up weaning until he was a little over 24 months. But even after all that time, it went very smoothly.

Welcome to the team! I'm not currently BF-ing, but I will be in a few months when our second son is born. I figured it couldn't hurt to stick around.

Hi! I'm late to the party as I'm going to wean my boy in the next 2 months, I'm curious to see how it's going to change my diet. I'm already down to nursing 3x a day so am not going from full force to nothing but I still know it will make a difference.

My boys are 5 and 16 months. I'm a stay at home mom, homeschooler, wife, student, work a business pt after kids go to bed, yeah- BUSY chica!!! (I know 16 mo is crazy to still be nursing to some- my first I stopped at 10 months but for some reason w/Zachary I've just kept going. lol)

Nice to meet so many of you on here! I'm pleased w my workout but needed to get on here to track my food- always my problem- love me some good food! lol!
