I like the wall push up idea.

Thank you

Jezebel: I started with Wall Pushups and doing planks from time to time. It was a way to help for me build arm stregth to push myself up. Also try pushups on knees to see how you feel. You just keep doing those and soon you can move up to a regular push up.

Thanks for posting your info Mizzfit! You have done so great, I hope you keep it up! It's inspiring to be able to think I could actually do ONE pushup some day let alone 20!

Hi all,

I'm Heather, 39 years old and I signed up with Sparks back in February 2013. I didn't really try to loss weight back then.
One day I realized I was having trouble climbing a flight of stairs and tying my own shoes. I stepped on the scale and saw 291. I was shocked that I had reached that weight. I felt a new passion to lose that weight and not look back. That was back on November 13th, 2013.
I wanted to not only do this for me but my son who wanted someone to play with.

I chose to do this on my own for personal reasons. My hubby supports me and is currently taking his own baby steps to getting healthy.

My story since than has been about starting small and moving up little by little.
I would never imagine that the person who could barely do a push up now can do 20 push ups.
The thing I need to work on is not beating myself up when I'm sick or exhausted and thinking I'm failing. I also am working on being more proud and less stressed about what the scale says. Some weeks I'm better about the later, but every so offend I catch myself beatting myself up for it.
