Welcome Melissa! Congrats on reaching your weight loss goal!! I count my discovery of this team among the most important elements of my weight loss journey. I loved the Big Page of Resources. Maintaining is different for each of us, but SO worth the effort. Healthy longevity is my motivation, plus I can wear every single piece of clothing in this house! My leadership role is to start a Daily Check in thread. I'm an early riser so it fits into my lifestyle, and have made so many "virtual" friends, and learned so much. No subject is off limits, we share challenges and offer support. Stop in if you like. Again, welcome!

Hi there!
I'm Melissa and so happy I found this group! I began my weight-loss journey in April of 2017 weighing in at 293 pounds. I reached my goal of 123 pounds in January 2019 and maintained that until I spent the entire month of June in Greece (stupid delicious Greek food!).

Since I've been back from Greece, I've been up in down between 127 and 135 (I weighed in yesterday at 134.6). I've definietley been have trouble maintaining consistency of the basic everyday healthy habits that helped me get to goal in the first place. I'll have 2 or 3 days where I'm on point, then 2 or 3 not so great days. So, to shake things up, I decided to join SparkPeople to help me recommit to the new me. I've worked so hard to get where I am and I DO NOT WANT TO GO BACK. Also, I want to start challenging myself physcially more to see what I'm actually capable of accomplishing which is something I've never done before.

Anyway, it's great to be here and I'm honored to be part of such an inspiring team. Congrats to all of you on your success!
