Blushing...and I thank you very much for the compliment.

I totally believe that if I can lose the weight, we can all lose the weight. I did regain, and am working on getting back to the weight I want to be at....I feel the healthiest there. There are struggles, but living a healthier and more active life has been so good for me and my family! My oldest son has started running with me, and my granddaughters want to start running some of the kids races.
My life is so much more fun than it was when all I did was sit in front of the computer or TV and eat to try to make myself feel better.

Yes, Kashmir shows us all that it CAN be done!
And, by staying with the team, she's showing us that even after you reach your goal there will be ups and downs, but she's sticking with it.

We're lucky to have her on board, as we're lucky to have all the active members of this team. You never know when you'll write just what someone else needs to read at that moment.

Hi Eileen, and emoticon to the Viva Vancouver! team.

It sounds as if you're truly ready for a lifestyle change. You're right that you don't need to do it all at once. If you want, just pick one thing to concentrate on this month and join the 'One Thing' Challenge for January. You can work on other things, of course, but for this one thing you'll report back at intervals and let the rest of us help you as you reinvent your life.

We're all here to help each other!

HI again, I'm finally starting to really use this site, even though I signed up a long time ago. I think I got exasperated before really taking the time to find things out. Now I'm seeing it's not so tough and I am going through the process of hooking everything up. Rather fun really and even though it seemed too time consuming at first, I can see now how it is all going to layer up and that there is no deadline, just evolution. My goal is #1, to become more healthy. Since I need to lose a 100 lbs, you can see how that would effect everything. I'm tired of not being able to have my normal strength and agility. I was stuck in a rut and really need some help, so that's what I'm here for. I'm quite happy to see all that Sparkpeople has to offer and the wealth of information that I can adapt to me, at my pace, no race. So here's to a fruitful relationship, I look forward to meeting you.
