Have you tried exercise to relieve stress? Sometimes a brisk walk helps more than anything! Or maybe something more relaxing, like yoga? It's worth a shot.

I just joined the site today and I wanted to introduce myself. I'm almost 41 years old and have been a closet/emotional eater since I was a kid. In my adult life, my weight has fluctuated from 118 lbs all the way to 190 lbs (which is where I am now). Years ago when I got stressed or depressed, my appetite would disappear and I would lose weight. Now that I'm older, just the opposite is happening. I eat non-stop from boredom, depression, anxiety and stress. I lost my job 8 months ago and haven't stopped eating since. I've gained 20 lbs in the last 8 months. I had my son 2 1/2 years ago and was able to drop to 155 lbs by his first birthday. Unfortunately the stress in my life has increased to the point where I eat all the time. I need support to lose the weight and I'm hoping to meet some friends here all well who know what I am going through. Thanks!
