Hello Alex's thats good at least you had some fruit.and honeydew is sooo good and for me i had a orange for BF and Cantaluope for lunch and i hope to have some fruit for dinner.

I usually have a smoothie (the VeryBerry from this site or a strawberry/raspberry/banana one) a few times a week. Those do count towards my fruit, right? On the other days, I have raspberries in my vanilla yogurt, or strawberries with lite coolwhip for a treat.

Today I had a smoothie and half a cup of raspberries, but I completely forgot to eat any yesterday. Aurgh.

Surprisingly, this has been rather easy for me. I went from not eating any fruit at all to an average of 2 pieces a day (1 orange, 1 apple)!

Well Alex,

Aren't we the bad ones! Too many parties this weekend, but I still got some fruit in. Also got 3 bites of cake and a small brownie. emoticon Actually worked into the calories, much to my amazement!

Missed the fruit yesterday since we were gone at all meals. By the time I got home I was OVER on my calories, so I didn't want to add anymore.

But today, I've got it whipped---3 fruits!

This is an easy one for me. I like fruits :-) so I end up eating a banana, orange, tangerine, or mango a day. Sometimes more than one each. Guess this is my way of getting that sugar rush.

Can I make a suggestion.

Keep 2-3 different fruits that you like on hand. Then try to incorporate them into your meals, or have one as a snack. For instance, for breakfast I usually eat cereal or oatmeal and add some raisins, or non-fat yogurt with grapes or strawberries. Then I'll eat some other type of fruit between 10-11 for a snack. Add another one for a late evening snack and there's your 3. Banana and peanut butter sandwiches make a great snack also.

p.s the bangles are a great idea.

Has anybody tried those "health" bangles/bracelets. You wear 7 on one wrist and move them to the other side as you eat a serving of fruit or veggie. Laney, that might work for you, if you get 1 or 2 of 1 color for fruit and the rest another for veggies.

Someone thump me on the head! emoticon Yesterday I got in MAYBE half a serving, no veggies. Today I got in plenty of veggies and NO fruit! I LIKE fruit! Just having a hard time remembering.
