Frozen vegies are quick, healthy, and inexpensive. Win win!

I love frozen vegetables because you can always get what you want in frozen. Whether in season are not.

I use mainly frozen vegetables. When I buy fresh, I usually end up throwing them out. Exceptions would be salad fixings. Those I buy in small quantities because, again, I end up wasting food and that wastes money.

We've been living in Mexico for a year and a half.
Very few processed foods here. Fresh tomatoes are so cheap here that there are no canned tomatoes. No TV dinners, no frozen pizza. Not even canned Pork and Beans. Every so often Sams or Costco have a very limited supply of processed food. When we go back to Dallas I take an extra bag and pick up stuff we need that isn't down here. One of the things is cornbread mix, canned salmon, and wolf brand chili. The Mexicans have beautiful looking desserts, with very little sugar and a taste that my husband cannot stand. I pick up dessert ingredients for his desserts. Mexico has made him eat more fruit. A good way to stop eating processed food

Frozen veggies are the best! Trader Joe's has some great combos. I have never tried the one you mentioned, but I just made their Asian Veggies in Bejing Soy Sauce as a side last night...sooo good. A bit higher in sodium if that's a concern, but you can always use less of the sauce or add more veggies.

I've been noticing that other grocery stores in my area have such a greater variety of frozen veggies than they used to! Frozen mushrooms, asparagus, brussels sprouts, beets, even avocado! Such an awesome thing.

Tonight I made mashed cauliflower from frozen cauliflower, cooked it in the microwave, chopped it with food processor and added garlic, low cal butter, and 1% milk

Good idea! I also keep frozen berries on hand for cereal and just snacking.

Sounds yummy. We usually do kale or spinach sautéed with garlic and olive oil 😋

Recommendation for those of you with a Trader Joe's near.

I found a new blend this week: Trader Joe's Organic Green Vegetable Foursome. It has broccoli, peas, green beans and zucchini. They add onions, garlic and light seasoning. Pretty low in sodium (90 mg per serving).

Delicious and a great way to get veggies in, especially if you're in a hurry! Frozen veggies are my fallback when I don't have time to cut, chop, etc.
