* At the bottom of your nutrition tracker page find the weekly progress section. Hit the blue add more nutrients button.

* Click the orange Add another nutrient to track button.

* click the pick a nutrient to track button.

* In the drop down menu scroll until you find Net Carbs

First, did you find net carbs in “add a nutrition “ and if not it should be right under Methionine. Once added you can find the net carbs of one food, it will be in Today’s full report”. Good luck.

Net carbs won't calculate on your individual lines (as in, you won't see 'net carbs' for the specific foods you enter) but they'll show on your daily totals at the bottom.

You can add fiber to your tracker for individual items which will give you the numbers to roughly calculate it yourself - total carbs minus fiber.

I wish MyFitNesspal did this but it doesn't so it has me over for CARBS yesterday which I have set at 63g-I had 64g-but had 30g of fiber.

I went to the "edit nutrition goals" tab but there's nothing listed on the drop down list for calculating net carbs. I typed in "net carbs" and it's now listed on my "edit" page but when I go back to my nutrition page, nothing is there about net carbs. I'm on the "free" Sparkpeople, is this a function of the paid one?

If you track your food here at SP you can “Edit Your Nutrition Goals” at the bottom of the page and add “Net Carbs”. Then it will calculate it for you. Hope that helps.

Otherwise my hubby just subtracts fiber from carbs.

I found a thread from 2013 that specified a way to calculate net carbs on SP but I'm sure the system has updated several times since then because when I followed the directions, the tabs weren't there. Anyone know a way to do it?
