Can't remember the last time I sweetened any of it--except for when I tried a roasted dandelion tea. (That NEEDED some help to be palatable.) emoticon

I'm very particular about my tea. I cannot drink green tea on an empty stomach as it gives me a tummy-ache. I prefer Earl Grey loose leaf tea from Colonial Williamsburg. I found their supplier and now order it by the pound instead of the tiny canisters.
I like Bigelow's mint tea and some of the yogi herbal blends. I can drink these latter ones without sugar. However, I do add sugar to the Earl Grey.
If you don't like a particular brand of green tea, try another brand. it really does make a difference.

Yes! I really love Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice or Celestial Seasonings Bengal Spice. Also do lots of Lipton Iced Tea. I rarely add sweetner, but will add lots of lemon to the plain tea.

I drink unsweetened iced green tea. I make a big batch of it each morning in my hydroflask and drink it all day long. I prefer it to plain water.

I love the Stash Earl Grey teabags and make myself a cup each afternoon around four. I do my tea up English-style, with 2 tablespoons added Sweet Italian Cream CoffeeMate creamer and a few Splenda packets. It's just so yummy.

I drink only black tea I know green is supposed to be better for a lot of things but I can't stand it. I drink it to have an alternative to water all the time without adding any calories that's the only benefit I really need. I love unsweetened Ice Tea in the summer and a warm cuppa anytime.

My favorite tea is the Sleepy Time and it doesn't matter the flavor. I have found that when I drink a hot cup of Sleepy Time an hour before bed, I have no problem falling asleep and it's wonderful!!!

I don't care for the green tea.

Low or no caffeine due to too much caffeine being a trigger for Atrial Fibrillation attacks. No more than 2 cups of caffiene a day usually a coffee and a green tea in the morning to help with the effects of SAD.

I like rooibos, fruit or herbal teas as they come and good quality decaf tea with oat milk or decaf coffee with a sweetener and oat milk. No black tea or filtered coffee for me.

Coffee every morning, but I was introduce to green tea and I love it. No sweetener or cream. I drink at least two cups a day. Plus for extra credit green tea gives me plenty of health benefits.

Green tea tastes like brewed grass to me! I drink tea all day long, regular in the morning, decaf in the afternoon/evening. Strong brewed, no milk no sweetener. Primarily english breakfast, also earl gray, irish breakfast, lady gray. Anything black really :). I want to like herbal teas but they just don't do it for me.

I love every kind of tea, except for liquorice & savory ones with veggies.

Currently, my favorite morning blend is white peach matcha.

As often as possible I've been substituting chocolate or chocolate chai tea for dessert. It satisfies me most of the time.

I like herbal, black, and white tea, but not green tea. To me, it tastes like grass.

My favorite herbals to drink hot:
Chamomile, peppermint, and apple cinnamon

My favorite herbal to drink cold:
Red Berries herbal tea from Tea Source

My favorite blacks to drink hot:
Earl Grey, English Breakfast, Irish breakfast, Breakfast Assam (this one is particularly good as a chai when combined with Tea Sources chai blend that's been prepared with sweetened condensed milk)

I don't really like cold black tea. I'd rather drink cold brew coffee if I'm looking for a caffeine hit when it's hot outside.

My favorite white teas:
Machu Peach-U and Candy Apple White (also good as an iced tea) from Tea Source

My favorite is jasmine green tea - especially the jasmine pearl variety. I put very hot water in a mug and add the tea in a strainer then cover and steep for about 3 - 4 minutes. It has a fragrant and almost sweet flavor although I don't add a thing. Love it the way it is. Sometimes add 1 tsp of honey if I'm battling a cold or sore throat. Other favorite is Earl Grey.

All teas I use are loose teas.

I'm a hot tea-only drinker. I love chai blends. I also enjoy Earl Grey and chamomile. I add a small amount of nonfat milk and a teaspoon of either honey or agave most times.

I love green and black tea. I try different varieties. The thing I can not stand in my tea is lemon.

I agree with Urbanredneck. If you've tried tea every which way and still don't like it you don't have to drink it. There is nothing magic about tea.

The most promising health benefit I see is from the polyphenols, which are powerful antioxidants that can be found in many other food sources...Stuff like dark chocolate, citrus fruits, berries, beans, nuts and red wine.

I like mixing hibiscus and black teas; hibiscus has a sour taste. When I brew up a large batch, I can sneak in a little green tea without ruining the flavor much.

I like otters.

I really like the jasmine pearl tea (green tea)....so fragrant and has a real flavor. Almost any that I get I like.

Good Earth, although I'm suspicious of these "natural flavors". Of course, I drink artificial sweeteners, so it's not that important because my main goal is to lose weight. I figure whatever way you I to keep drinking water is more important -- for now.

Agree with NIRERIN - brewing correctly is an important first step! Not too hot, not too long.

You can also absolutely mix and match teas to make your own flavor blends. You can do things like green tea and chamomile, or lavender to relax, or blends like ginger mango or chai to spice things up! Just toss both bags into the cup and enjoy!

If you do loose leaf tea, it's even easier to blend flowers, herbs, or spices in with your tea.

You certainly can add cream. You can also find varieties of tea, in black, green, oolong, and even white, to try. They all come from the same plant, just picked at different times or processed differently.

The info that I'm seeing these days seems to find little difference in the "health benefits" between green and black tea --- and seems to indicate that there really isn't anything in either option that you can't get from other sources. If you really don't LIKE tea, then it isn't worthwhile trying to force yourself to include it in your diet.

Personally, I really enjoy some decaf Earl Grey, with an ounce or less of milk. There are some green teas which I enjoy (following the steeping instructions already posted!), and which I will have clear. I sometimes will add some herbs or spices or citrus, for a different flavour --- such as lemon ginger, or cardamom, or a bit of mint and coriander.

If you find something that you enjoy, then great! Otherwise, just continue to enjoy your usual overall healthy diet and don't bother about trying to add in something that you don't really like...

I like Yogi Lemon Ginger. It says helps with digestion on the box, and I find that to be true.

I also love Bengal Spice after dinner. Keeps dessert cravings at bay.

Step one: Brew it properly. When the water is too hot and you leave the leaves in for too long tea gets bitter. Green tea is even more delicate than black tea, which translates into cooler water temperatures and shorter steep times. Straight boiling water and a 5-10 minute steep is the tea equivalent of boiling brussels sprouts until they are grey. The hot water side spout from a coffee machine is another common tea killer. Green tea tends to be a little earthier than black and there just really isn't any getting around that.

That being said, you might want to try a blend, something like Tazo's Zen Blend, which has a bit of spearmint and lemongrass with the green tea, to start you out. Lipton is a cheap option, and sometimes that's all you can say about it. If there are any local teahouses or coffeeshops (avoid Starbucks on this one, they use the side hot water spout), particularly ones that have walls of glass jars of tea, those would be a good spot to try different blends to find one you prefer. Usually places with a large selection tend to actually train their people on how to make tea. This will give you a way to try some different blends and flavors without a large commitment. stashtea.com is a favorite of mine and they have 10 bag samplers for $3.50 while you are figuring out what you like.

I really like plain unflavored and decaffeinated black tea. Found the oils in regular didn't always sit well with me but decaffeinated seems to almost be a comfort food in the winter. Get a lot of satisfaction from a hot cup between meals.

What have you done today to make you feel proud???

My favourite tea is black tea, made strong, with milk and no sugar. I usually drink it about 20 minutes after a meal.

When it is hot I like iced tea, made with a dash of lemonade to it for slight fiz and sweetness (our lemonade is different to what it appears most in USA call lemonade.)

What’s your favorite tea. I realize green tea has many health benefits but I’d like to find a way to actually like it. Milk and sweetener?
