A quick bite, a homemade poppyseed muffin with low fat cream cheese.

My morning snack will be my real breakfast, baked Peanut Butter Cup oatmeal with Reese's frosting. (sounds more sinful than it actually is. Made with natural peanut butter, unsweetened cocoa power, sweetened with banana and a little bit of real maple syrup.) But it does taste like dessert for breakfast. ;)

Multigrain porridge mix, cooked in 1/2 water, 1/2 skim milk, with cinnamon and 1/2 a banana. After cooking I added peanut butter, wheat germ and natural yoghurt

My housemate offered to cook breakfast today and on the menu was wholemeal toast spread with butter, topped with button mushrooms (cooked in a little bit of butter) and a fried egg (done using a non-stick frying pan with not alot of oil).

A bit indulgent, but I needed a change from the usual multigrain porridge or dal.
