Because of IBS you probably can't just eat a big salad or a plate full of vegetables. But avoid the all-or-nothing thinking on this topic. When you're cooking breakfast, grate a few tablespoons of zucchini, slice a mushroom and put those on top of your eggs, then add a little cheese for a veggie omelette. Put some grated zucchini/carrot/cucumber (whatever you like) on your sandwich. It doesn't have to be a lot, and you can avoid the IBS flare-up by not trying to overdo it. Good luck!

Growing up my father planted a garden which he loved to share. He always read the spring seed catalogues and tried some new veggie every year! I loved helping him plant and helping my mother can and freeze the veggies. emoticon

I am working on getting in all the vegetables I need for a healthy day of food. I am not an lover of vegetables and suffer from IBS - and vegetables can and usually do cause a flair up so needing ideas on how to get them into my plan without causing pain.
