Thank you for the responses. I may look into the vivofit again. Bought one a few years ago, but at the time my computer was too outdated for it to work on it. It might work now, but I don't have it anymore because one of the grandchildren found it and lost part of it. The joys of having little people around. They find everything I don't hide from them and when I hide stuff from them, then I usually can't remember where I put it and it's hidden from me as well. LOL

Garmins sync to Garmin Connect, an app and a website. You can do this via bluetooth and the app, or you can plug in the Garmin to your computer. Garmin vivofit would probably be the closest to the fitbit.

-google first. ask questions later.

I have an iPad so I’ve always used a Fitbit. On my third different one now. Second is still working but I found a really good deal so I have an Alta.

Have you looked at Garmin's fitness trackers? They are probably FitBit's biggest competitor and maybe they offer something that will work for you.

My fitbit one has died. Are there any fitness trackers that don't require a smart phone? I could use a basic pedometer, but like being able to see my activity on line to check activity level trend over time. I would also like to track heart rate as well, because I like strength training and the step counter are useless for that. Tried a Charge 3, because it claims to work with window 10, but it doesn't. Fitbits response was to just use it with a smart phone.
