No I am not happy right now. I don't know what is wrong with me. I hate being fat and 3 months ago my doctor told me I needed to lose weight or else I am going to develop diabetes and polycystic ovarian syndrome and possibly die if I don't lose weight. This scared me so much but I still wont do it. I have a herniated esophogas, which is a hole in my esophogas, and the doctor said I will probably need surgery to repair it. The most natural way to repair it is to lose weight. This still can't motivate me. I am so far gone that I just can't force my body to work out. I'm extremely disappointed in myself to the point that I actually hate me right now. My family keeps giving me "motivational" speeches but it just makes me feel worse. I need help, I just don't know what kind of help I need. Any suggestions?

I was listening to Brian Tracy the other day and he asked, "What do you really want in life? If you could live your life everyday happy and healthy, where would you be and what would you be doing?" What was my answer? I DON'T KNOW.

What makes me happy? puppies (when they behave)? shopping (when I have plenty of money)? snuggling in my warm bed (if I don't have to get up early in the morning)? It seems everything that makes me happy has a condition. What is up with that? I am on a mission to find happiness and I can bet you that it has nothing to do with looking like a movie star or having a million dollars. I believe we are all on this mission. Please share your thoughts. I know that we are all struggling and this site is bringing us together.

I am tired of bouncing around from one thing to another in all the different aspects of my life. I want to find some peace. Everywhere has gotten me nowhere so far. Let's find a road that leads somewhere so we can plop our nice healthy butts and rest for a while!!

You betcha I'm happy! I have the next 5 days off, my son is coming for the Thanksgiving holiday and freinds will be with us off and on all the time. My guest room has a nice bed in it at last, most of the house is clean and my son's GF wants to do at least half the T'giving cooking.

I am trying really hard to become happy again. I never really got into Spark people the way I should have when I first signed up, I really need to get back and get involved because it seems to help so many. I think supporting and encouraging others will help me tremendously to get back on track with my own diet and exercise. My will power is fading and I'm extremely worried about gaining back the weight I've worked so hard this past year to lose. Anyway, I hope to chat with many of you all soon and often.
