I have zero motivation right now. It is like a Catch 22 - I don't lose weight because I eat too much and don't exercise nearly enough, I get depressed because I am not losing so I eat and do not have the motivation to exercise.

I'm at a 1 or 2, but made myself go for my run anyway. I was up really early this morning and that is messing with my appetite, big time. I want to eat everything in the house right now. Tonight is about damage control for my calorie count!

Despite the fact that I told you my motivation was 5 this morning, I put in a full hour's water aerobics class! so I bumped up my 5 to a 10 by taking action! Just thought I'd let you know--sometimes we can move ourselves to do something we think we don't feel like doing! I'm so glad I did this after all. You can do something positive to move yourselves, too!

My motivation factor right now is about a 5. I had been 'good' all last week with my food tracking, staying within my calorie limit, and exercising EVERY day, yet I stepped on the scale this morning and my weight hasn't budged in 3 weeks!!!!!!! I'm feeling down about that, but my spouse says my shape looks better and that I am 'redistributing the furniture'. I have to galvanize my energy to do water aerobics this morning. I have a slight headache and I would really rather crawl back into bed and mope, but I've got to get moving if I'm going to win the battle of the bulge! emoticon
