WHY do I want to do this? I was thinking the exact same thing this morning. I've been trying to eat healthy and exercise for the past year and was down 34 pounds at one point, however I've fallen off the wagon and have gained back 16 pounds and need to get back on track before it all comes back. Obviously the reasons I was doing it for before weren't enough. Those reasons were: I want to be healthy, teach my daughter good habits, and have more energy. Those are all great reasons, but for some reason, they weren't enough, so I started to think of some other reasons that I want to do this. Some of these are totally shallow and selfish: I want to look good to me, I want to be thinner than my sister and my cousins, I want to feel like men find me attractive, (I'm happily married!) I want to be one of the slim, attractive women in the office where I work. So many reasons why I want to eat healthy and exercise, but yet, for some reason I still don't.
i want to eat healthy and exercise because i want to get into shape and feel comfortable in my body. i want to be able to wear anything i want to. i want to look like i did when i was 110lbs. and i want to fit into the clothes i wore when i was 110 lbs. truth is i want to feel good about myself and not feel so self conscious.
I am eating healthy and exercising because I have children and grandchildren that I want to enjoy my life with for a long long time. I would like to see greatgrands and great-greatgrands. Most of all I am doing it because how it makes me feel. Great!

I just want to be healthy and feel good again. I want to be able to walk without my knees hurting or my body aching all the time. I want to grow old gracefully and be fit, healthy and take care of myself when I'm 80+ years old.
of the way it makes me feel. It makes me feel healthy, positive, accomplished. At the end of the day, It leaves you with a giddy feeling of pure happiness, its almost as if you can do ANYTHING. And you know what? You can! :)
