@EOWYN2424

"You don't think having it tucked in makes me look fat?"

Having the shirt untucked makes you look fat. Untucked says you're covering up or hiding something. It looks sloppy unless you're wearing a tunic style shirt that is meant to be long and worn over pants or a skirt.

When your shirt is tucked in, it gives a much neater appearance.

What makes a person look fat is when they wear clothes that are too tight. Wear clothing that suits your figure and no one will notice if you carry a few extra pounds.

I'm only 4 feet 11, so yeah, I am very short! Shorter than you. ;-)

My Mom is 5 feet 3 and she is always rubbing it in ;-)

She gave me a pair of ankle pants that were too loose for her but fits me just fine. Only thing is, on me, it becomes a pair of long pants!

I am going to say leave the shirt untucked and not because tucking it in makes you look fat. After all, fat makes you look fat, not necessarily an untucked shirt. Also, clothes that are too big or too small can make you appear fat.

If memory serves, Elaine, you are short like I am. I am 5' 2" (157 cm) and am also short waisted, meaning my lower half is longer than my shorter half. When you are short, tucking in a shirt can make you look really cut off and ridiculous. Being short waisted makes it appear even worse! :-)

I know I have a properly fitting shirt if it sits just above my hip. If I have that, I know I can leave the shirt untucked and look great.

I think the skorts look much better with your shirt tucked in.

With the shirt hanging out, it seems a little sloppy, untidy. Having it tucked in is much more "put together".

You can see the design of the skort here.

But I think I still look better with my shirt out, but it will cover the buttons on the skort. Oh well, what dyu think?

@EOWYN2424

If you want your picture to post in the right direction on Spark, you need to take the picture horizontally, not vertically.

Retake the picture side ways and then we'll be able to see how great you look in the smaller size skorts.

Congrats. I recently bought a copy of a dress that fit me at 5 pounds/2 kilos-ish from goal.
I can almost zip it, AND breathe.

It’s great to have such a physical whoo hoo.

You should post a photo of yourself wearing the smaller size skorts ! You can hold up the XL just to show how many inches you lost.

Excellent news indeed! Elaine, I encourage you to post more items like this and less about the disgusting mukbangs and deadly fast food. You seem very pleasant when you post positive things. It's a nice change.

I've gone a size down!!!!!

Last year, I tried this skort (that's shorts and a skirt combined), and I barely fit into an XL!

Well, today, I finally got it and I had to get an L!!!!!

Whooooppppeeeee! I'm stoked!!!!
