Homemade "Top Ramen": 4 oz of fettuccini noodles, spinach, yellow/red/orange bell peppers, onions, chicken or beef bullion, and red pepper flakes - 458 cals. I bring the water to a boil with the bullion and red pepper flakes in it. I then add the fettuccini noodles and set my timer for 10-11 minutes. With 3 minutes left, I add the veggies, wait for a bit, pour it all into a bowl, and enjoy myself! I do not discard the water, rather, I eat it like a soup.
"Rather train yourself for godliness; for while bodily training is of some value, godliness is of value in every way, as it holds promise for the present life and also for the life to come" (1Timothy4:7-8)
"Jesus answered, 'The most important [commandment] is, 'Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one. And you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength'" (Mark 12:29-30).
it's very hot today so dinner is going to be salad
This afternoon I grilled a pound of large shrimp together with 2 red bell peppers cut into bite size pieces seasoned with a little Korean BBQ teriyaki sauce, minced garlic, pepper, and cilantro (and cooled in the fridge for later). For dinner I'll make a large tossed salad of romaine, with sliced cucumbers, a plum tomato and a vinaigrette dressing, then I'll top it with my grilled shrimp/peppers combo.
