BREN,

You should also check out YOUTUBE for seated boxing workouts. here's an example of a 30 minute workout. Watch the videos first to see what you can and can't do. Some of these workouts can be intense.

Also, do you have any resistance bands or hand weights ? If you can't work your lower body because of the knee surgery, then work your upper body and core muscles.

When I had a stress fracture in my leg - I used the spark people seated cardio video. It is about 10-12 minutes so I would do it a few times a day. Even with some adaptations - It at least for me moving.

In addition to the link @URBANREDNEK shared, I would also recommend getting clearance to exercise from your doctor, especially since you are dealing with some health issues.

I just discovered this week that I am diabetic. I've been packing on the weight for two reasons I believe, 1st is lack of activity and second is my addiction to sugar. I'm waiting for knee surgery and can't walk a lot but I know there has to be exercises out there for people who can't walk or find it hard to walk. So my question is, are there any exercises you would recommend? find any on you tube you follow? or anywhere else?
