Only 17 today :-(

Sigh! I hate it when I click randomly, hoping for more points and I keep getting 2s! :-(

I am just so bored today! The movement control order (mco) has been extended to 28th April! I'm going stir crazy! I miss spending time with my Mom at the mall. Now she can only go alone within a short time just to get the necessities like vegetables.

We can only be in the car together when she sends me to dialysis or when she fetches me home from dialysis. The dialysis centre gave me a letter of permission stating that I need to go for dialysis in case she gets stopped by the police.

I was feeling very lazy to exercise today, so I just did a 30 minute indoor walking workout by Joanna Soh :

www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3AUw3-jtEo&t=153s

I sweated a bit, I initially wanted to do dance workout but I was feeling lazy and this fit the bill nicely. I will go shower after I post this. My brother has been his 'lovely' self, getting on my nerves, but I refuse to react!

26 this morning

So, the puppy was sick of being in quarantine. I don't blame him! I bet it was nice to chat with the neighbor, especially if the day was nice.

Tibor is rather laid back, unless it's time for breakfast or dinner. He wakes me up on the weekends at 4 AM to get fed. I think he has some Siamese or other Asian breed in him because he is VERY talkative and loud lol.

I've been thinking...hasn't it been about a year, maybe a little more, since you Mum passed? Time flies...

I hope you get a lovely, soaking rain.

I got 10 points this a/noon, too :-)

I love watching cats/dogs when they pinch each other's toys, and they show surprise, indignation, annoyance LOL! Never mind. Tibor must be very mild-mannered hahaha.

I had a visit this afternoon. Next door's little pup came to see me. I was walking back into the house after taking some rubbish to the Wheelie Bin, when he waltzed past me and up onto the deck. He Mum called him but he chose to ignore her and went for a wander inside the house, while the neighbour and I talked (social distancing.) She is German, and said her Aunt and Uncle both had Covid. She said he slept for most of 2 weeks but they are better now.

It's been a lovely warm, sunny day, today. I did my laundry and it was almost dry after an hour in the sun. Tomorrow it is SUPPOSED to rain. Time will tell, I guess.

I got all of 10 this morning.

Odie stole Tibor's mouse. I don't think the cat was too bothered lol. He was happy batting around a ball of paper this morning.

The weather was strange here yesterday. We had a lot of wind and some sunny moments. We also had moments of what I can only describe as snow or sleet squalls.

What's the toy that Odie stole? Tibor doesn't look overly bothered. LOL!

28 this fabulous morning

Yep, Elaine, sometimes we get very few points. No one has seen the elusive 250 (5 x 50) in the 2.5 + years this thread has been going. Some day...

I would love to share rain! It's too bad the heavy rain last such a short time for you.

Here is a picture of Odie and Tibor. Odie has officially stolen Tibor's toy. Rude! LOL

38 Points tonight.

It would be lovely to get some of your rain LOL! I got quite a surprise today. All of a sudden some very heavy rain came down, but literally only a couple minute's worth. Not enough to do anything other that wet the grass (that we DO have that hasn't died off LOL)

The USA's Center for Disease Control (CDC) recommends masks but it isn't a requirement, for which I'm thankful. A crocheted mask? That seems like it would be even less usefull than a cotton one. LOL

I guess I can understand masks in the more densely populated areas like the NYC and Los Angeles areas. Although the transmissions in Minnesota are still increasing a bit, the increase is not as rapid as many other areas, thankfully. We Minnesotans have been excellent at the physical distance. We are also generally active and people are getting outside for fresh air, which I think helps. A lot. I read on MSN that NZ is maybe on the downswing. I hope MN is close behind.

I'll gladly send some rain to you! The river 6 block from me is still high. I tried to run west on it last Saturday and had to turn around.

Another quiet day today. We don't often have to do our Taxes in NZ. The system in NZ makes it much easier. In certain circumstances a Tax Return needs to be filed, but most people aren't in that category.

35 for me tonight.

Yeah - I used to make soda bread but stopped because it all got eaten in one hit .... not just by me, but hubby and his workers. I sent a very similar recipe to my son.

It's nice that you were able to go to your sister's for dinner last night. Not many are wearing masks here, and NZ is following the WHO advice on it. Mind you, there has been very little community transmission - most of ours are directly related to Kiwis returning with it or their family/close contacts. Most of the rest are from 3 clusters - one cluster a wedding where about 60 got it; another cluster of about 15 thanks to the cruise ship that has been the cause of the worst outbreak and most of the cases in Australia, and another one from a Bar in Matamata where Hobbiton is (Lord of the Rings.) I had to laugh, my niece told my sister yesterday to NOT wear the mask that my great-niece had made for her, but to wear the one she had given her mother .... A CROCHET MASK lol! All that is good for is keep the cold air out of your lungs LOL! Needless to say, my sister didn't wear ANY when she wen to the hospital appointment today. The only way you can get in is to show Security OUTSIDE your appointment, they go in and check inside, then you are given a paper and have to sanitize your hands, then go to your appointment, then when you go out have to sanitize again. She goes through all the again tomorrow when she sees the Infectious Disease Specialist. I hope for her that he is able to figure out what is happening with her legs. She has the start of another ulcer. Her legs are a mess. I'm really worried because she is a Diabetic.

It's supposed to hit 70 F/21 C today. There were thunderstorms with hail about 3 hours north and a line a bit south of me. I think I just heard some thunder from that one. Tomorrow, it's back to our more typical april highs of around 45 F to 50 F/7 C to 10 C.

Back to work for me today. I had yesterday off. Originally, it was to get my usual Sunday stuff done because I had a 10 mile/15k race. It was postponed to August so I just had a day off and got my taxes done.

Poor turkeys, lol! I trust she was told to never do that again.

50 minutes isn't too far, so visits will be something to look forward to when this is past. And it will pass.

Thank God the specialist will be at the close hospital! Here's to hoping the visit will be usefull.

Some people are wearing masks here. Many are not. The smoking guy probably has bigger concerns than the corona virus.

Soda bread is yummy!

I went to my sister's for dinner last night. It was nice.

19 points for me tonight.

My sister got a reprieve. The Hospital phoned her today and said that the consultant will come to the original hospital, so she doesn't have far to go by taxi.

My friend is living about 50 minutes from me, so we will actually be able to see each other occasionally once the lock-down is over.

I remember when I was a teenager my Mum and Dad had a cottage on the farm and they rented it out. The new tenants' little daughter (about 2yrs old) decided to teach their baby turkeys how to swim. She held each one under (13 of them) until they drowned LOL! Well, not funny for the poor babies, but funny because they aren't the easiest to breed in captivity here LOL!

My son woke me this a.m. He video-called me. It was lovely. He was saying that some of them in Vancouver are wearing masks (as some are everywhere) and he saw one today standing outside a building with a mask on ..... pulled down below his chin, so he could smoke. DUMB ARSE may as well not be wearing one!

He LUV'd the soda bread he made the other day, so he is going to make more. His husband thought my son ate 1/4 loaf, so he had HIS 1/4 loaf. My son had only eaten 2 slices from a 1/4 loaf lol. Still, he obviously liked it, too :-) I find it very amusing that they are married, but "this is MY 1/4 and this is YOUR 1/4" etc. etc.

Wow...your niece is pure evil. What a nasty, nasty human being, although I have a tough time calling her a human being. It's bad enough she's that way during good times. But know, just...ugh. It's great her neighbor will help her out.

Yeah, wild turkeys get a little ornery in the spring. It's funny to a degree and from a ways a way. If I see some when I am out walking or running, I do what I can to avoid them. I wish that video was still available!

I trust you and four friend had a nice chat. Does she live close so you can visit when visiting is a little easier?

20 Points for me tonight.

I would LOVE to see a turkey stalking people LOL! I wonder how brave the cops are when they get stalked emoticon I'm glad that you managed to find some ground turkey. I had Roast Lamb with my veggies tonight :-)

I felt very sorry for my sister this a.m. she phoned me almost in tears. Her daughter went and got her groceries early, then brought her mother THREE Bananas and THREE plums, and came in and put them on the bench. No "Hello Mum - how are you doing, kiss my foot or anything else. She turned to leave and asked how the bread situation was. My sister said she had run out. Her daughter brought down about 1/3 of a loaf. I am SOOOO PISSED. She didn't even ask her if there was anything she wanted/needed. emoticon My sister has quite a list of stuff she needs. My great niece went down later to see what she had got. I was on the phone to my sister at the time, and I heard her say "very little and I'm running out" I could hear Sammie then open the cupboard and tell her grandma that her Mum had been and gotten their groceries. SHE didn't sound very pleased with her mother, either. Her neighbour commented that she heard her going out and asked if it was to get the groceries. My sister said yes. The neighbour is obviously VERY well aware of the lack of support and asked my sister if she got anything for her. When she was told just the bananas and plums, the neighbour evidently looked pretty p'd off too, and asked what was needed and she would get some tomorrow in her shopping.

My friend from Scotland arrived back today. She phoned me tonight.

67 thanks to a 50.

I am sorry your sister is struggling so. I understand, I really do. This is hard on everyone. I am literally bored to pieces myself.

It's great her neighbor will take her to her appointment.

We have lots of wild turkeys here in Minnesota and it's their mating time now. I personally have never seen "adult interactions" but have seen them out and about. There are videos of them stalking people, including police! I tried to find the video I am thinking of and can't.

Speaking of turkey, I did find ground turkey at the grocery yesterday.

35 Points tonight.

The change of appointment location is, I gather, something to do with Covid-19. Having said that, there are only about 10 people in NZ in hospital with it, but I guess they are covering all their bases just in case. Her neighbour told her today that she will take her, so it would appear that my sister will go, after all. She was doing a big bitch tonight again. She phoned me to see what the Lotto time was on my TV's TV Guide. I told her - it was different to what was on Sky. I just said that perhaps Sky had already taken into account that it wasn't a live draw while the lock-down is on. She got BITCHY and started on about them not advertising it they weren't doing live draws. I pointed out that, yes they had because I had seen it on TV. Somehow that got to be I go out a lot more than her. NOPE - I've been home since before the lock-down started. She then said that she was getting quite bitchy because of everything that was happening. I laughed and said I had noticed. I think it hurt her because she went silent, then in a bit of a blubby voice said that she had better go. I can understand her being bitchy, but really wish she didn't take it out on me. I'm about the only person she has she can actually talk to. Stilll - I've got strong shoulders and a thick skin LOL!

I used to have pet goats - I love them, but didn't personally know that one. AND, I have never SEEN a turkey in mating season to know how they act LOL! Mind you, if they are anything like the roosters or sparrows that I have seen ....... but then , they weren't mean - just ummmm over-active LOL!

My friend from Scotland is arriving tomorrow. She has to go into Quarantine for 2 weeks, first. I hope she's made it o.k. She is severely immunocompromised. She will be in time for her youngest daughter's baby to arrive (due in about 3 months)

7 measly points this morning lol

I think it's okay to laugh at your sister for her FB rant. Pot coloring the kettle black much? ;)

I actually pulled myself off FB for a bit and even deleted from my phone. Maybe she should follow that lead? I am mostly FB "stalking" posts now but not commenting or posting or anything.

I don't think you were laughing at the mold spot. At all. That is bad news for sure. Her appointment got moved to a different hospital? Wow...not good. Can she get it changed back at all?

I hope you enjoyed that goat curry.I still cringe of the thought of eating goat because they fall into my description of "cute animals" and I avoid eating them. LOL. Turkeys, for example, are mean, especially now during mating season so I don't mind eating them. LOL

26 for me tonight.

I was rather pee'd at my sister today. She had the cheek - having a go at me because each night I have been posting a joke about Covid-19 on 5 different FB pages. It ANNOYS her because she hears 5 pings in a row and then sees them one after the other scrolling. She TOLD me to NOT do it and I shouldn't be on some of the teams because I don't live there (her area) Funny thing is, she is on 4 of the same ones for MY area!!! Too bad! If she doesn't like it she can take a flying leap! (well, if she COULD take a flying leap, she can LOL!) Shouldn't laugh. A patch on her leg appears to have grown MOLD! The District Nurse came in yesterday and said it is what it looks like. Mind you, mold is a bacteria, so it is quite likely. The hospital phoned her today and told her that her appointment with the Infectious Diseases Dept had been shifted to another hospital. She can't go because she doesn't have transport. She could have easily gotten a taxi to the original hospital, but the one at the other hospital would have cost her $80 each way.

I had the last of my Goat Curry for dinner tonight. I cooked rice and some peas to go with it.

Glad your family is doing as well as can be expected. I am thankful your sister's appointments will stay! Rock Dweller...well, he can just stay there. LOL

Unfortunately, I can't do soy due to an allergy and estrogen issues. I am sure I will find some turkey eventually. I am not desperate at this point, thankfully. I also have 5 grocery stores within about 5 miles I can check. Thanks for the bean ideas. I do love a good black bean burger.

If you can't find ground turkey, look for a vegetarian alternative IF you can eat soy (don't remember if you can) I have Textured (Isolated) Soy Protein and often reduce the meat and add that. It's got a good fibre content, too.

I've also made burger patties using mashed up black beans or kidney beans or mixed bean salad. I also add lentils and Rolled Oats to the beans, plus an egg and add chickpea or pea flour to it. The beans I used are flavoured (usually Mexican) so it means I don't have to add other stuff. They are filling and nutritious and even a meat eating person wouldn't know that there isn't any meat in it.

My sister is doing o.k. I mean, she's been virtual lock-down for a long time now. She has 2 hospital appiontments next week and they HAVE to go ahead. The hospital has only cancelled non-urgent ones.

My daughter is doing well. She has been quite busy doing her on-line and face-time stuff with her high-needs clients, assigning them tasks to do etc. Eli is doing well. It is his 13th Birthday today. My son and son-in-law have been doing surprisingly well considering they are very social bunnies. My son made some Sour Dough bread the other day. I sent him the recipe and he loves it. He said he is definitely making it again. I sent them a recipe for peanut butter, egg, sugar biscuits (no flour) they are going to try that, too. So is TJ and his Mum. He is loving cooking with her. She has sent me a couple little videos of him helping, including his 2 1/2yr old self standing at the kitchen sink washing some safe utensils LOL! My brother (the one whose partner died just before the lock-down) is doing really well. we send each other messages most days, and he is active on FB as well. The Rock one I haven't heard from.

27 this morning

We had another glorious day yesterday with sunshine. It felt good. Glad to hear you had a lovely day too.

We actually have a winter weather advisory for western Minnesota. My county, which is Scott County and is in the southwest suburbs of the Twin Cities might get a bit if ice. No April Fools. :-)

I found a new recipe for a black bean turkey burger I am hoping to try this weekend. The trick? Finding ground turkey. People seem to be hoarding meat and TP. LOL

Thankfullly, I have enough in my tiny, jam packed drawer freezer so I am good but am trying to make fresh things when I can. As always, I hope this craziness ends soon but am ready.

Have you heard much from your family? How are they holding up?

Yeah - I was chuffed with the amount of meals I got from it.

Fertizing would certainly make a huge difference to your results.

It was nice and warm here today again (yesterday was nice too!)

At least the race was postponed and not cancelled. That is a positive.

Well, you sure got a lot out of that turkey! I bet it was delicious, especially for your birthday.

I didn't fertilize at all. I know that would help. Some of my pots didn't drain properly either, so that was an issue. I may try some tomatoes again this year. That's super cool you tried to grow your low carb potatoes!

I scheduled a day off next Monday. I took it originally because I had a 10 mile/16k on Sunday. That race got postponed to August. Go figure lol.

Yesterday was a beautiful, sunny, early Spring day here in Minnesota. I walked 4 miles/6.5 km and there were a lot of people out but we all kept our distance.

83 for me tonight, thanks to a 50 and a 20.

With your Vege plants last year, did you give them an occasional feed of something like Blood & Bone, or Sheep Pellets? If they were in a pot they need more of that sort of thing than if they were in a ground but it helps them in the ground, too. This spring I am going to plant 3 courgettes instead of 2, and an extra cherry tomato plant. I also managed to get a few little potatoes from the low carb ones I eat (can't buy the seed potatoes for them here) but it was the wrong time of year I planted them, so come spring and early summer I am going to let a few grow some shoots, and will plant them out in a big drum. I'm also thinking of planting some carrots as well.

28 for me tonight.

Yes, it was 30th .

I managed to get 16 serves w/gravy, 12 of which are now in the freezer. I had one, a drumstick, for lunch today, and tomorrow will do the same. I cooked the carcas to make a good stock, and got another 380g of meat off the bones from that, and cooked up some carrots/celery/onion/garlic/rice/peas/corn/kidney beans, a little lemon juice, and added the rest of the gravy to the stock and meat, and got 6 serves of soup from it. I am VERY pleased with the results.

That's nice taking a roll or two of loo paper to the pantry.

Yesterday was a beautiful day here. It hit 60 F/16 C and the sun was out. The snow in my yard is gone but of course, then I see how ugly it is. I may try to start getting leaves and such cleaned up. I am debating vegetable plants. Last year wasn't very lucrative and the plants sure aren't free. I probably spent $50 to $60 on plants and I know I didn't get that value back in produce. Chalk one up to learning lol.

Happy Birthday??!! Is it today? I am so happy you got to chat with your son and had a delicious turkey dinner. It's great your neighbor stopped by too.

The whole grocery delivery thing is awesome here too for those who need it. Many stores, especially the smaller co-ops, are doing online order with curbside pickup. They even load your car. :-)

I went out yesterday to see if I could find toilet paper. I finally found some. I feel a lot better and should be good for a bit now. I may even bring a roll or two to the little free pantry down the block.

I'll be figuring out the PT thing. I think it will help. A lot. If I can get it.

Beat you by 1 - I got 38 Points tonight.

Yep - hopefully the lock-down won't go past the 4 weeks. Our Prime Minister and her cohorts said that they would have a good idea by 6th April as to how the lock-down is going. The think the infections SHOULD have started to slow down by then but I guess time will tell.

It makes sense why you hurt so much. It's a pity that PT sessions hadn't been ordered.

I had a lovely day today. It started with my son and son-in-law video-calling me for my birthday. They woke me up but that doesn't matter LOL! My bananas that I caved and ordered yesterday were delivered to my deck today. They look sooo yumm, and the 2 have have eaten so far WERE yummm emoticon emoticon

My neighbour came over to see that I was o.k. She stayed on the deck and we had a lovely chat. I haven't seen her for a long time, so it was good catching up. Her son is responsible for organizing the PPE to go to the various places, and there are going to be a lot of new testing places opening, so he has to organize equipment for them.

I cooked my big turkey that I bought just before Xmas, and a HUGE price reduction. Obviously I will have some for eating for lunches, but the bulk of it will be going in the freezer with the cranberry & Orange Gravy I made to go with it :-)

That's too bad it isn't essential. :-) Hopefully, this madness passes QUICKLY!

A roasted turkey sounds delicious, especially for your birthday. I hope your family comes and at least sings Happy Birthday or something, even if it's socially distant.

I got in 7 miles/11.25 km yesterday and I finally figured out why I hurt so much. It isn't necessarily the knee joint. It's the muscles and ligaments that are wonky due to compensating before the surgery and the surgeon only gave me some PT exercises. He didn't order actual PT sessions with a human being. I will be calling and asking if I can get a referral for when all this stupidity ends. :)

No - that sort of thing isn't classed as Essential Services. All those store outlets are closed down. She has an orthopedic chair, but it is one that you would have at a dining table.

I took my big turkey out the freezer today. I am going to cook it tomorrow, and have my birthday party with just me LOL! I'm just about out of ham, so I will slice some of it for cold meat for lunch, keep some out for the next night, and slice the rest and add gravy and put in the freezer.

Her recliner broke? That's terrible. Is there any way she can get it fixed faster than a month? It's medically necessary, in my opinion.

I HOPE that your State Fair happens in August. If everyone abides by social distancing and not going out more than they need (e.g. Dr, Groceries) then the virus won't be an issue any more. All we can do is hope!

My sister's lazyboy broke yesterday. It's the only chair that she has that she can sit on, and it's what she elevatef her feet on so she isn't laying on her bed 24/7. She can still sit on it, but it isn't safe as in the leg-rest parts sticks out a little bit, and it won't elevate. She has to wait at least a month to have it repaired/replaced on Warranty.

56 points tonight thanks to a 50.

Meghan - there IS something to look forward to. When we get through this, and we WILL, I think a lot of people will be surprised at how well they have been able to cope. Sure, those who go out regularly, particularly those who socialize, are going to be hit harder emotionally because it is a sudden change, and those who have had their work cut or cut back will notice it financially, too. However those who are suddenly having to stay home will discover that they are paying less for petrol; take out food, and unnecessary purchases which will help a little re the reduced income. Those with kids will find that the kids will mostly learn new ways of entertaining themselves, and a lot of people who 'can't' cook will suddenly find that, in fact, they CAN cook, even if it is just basics. Parents with children have a golden opportunity to get their kids helping to cook things. It can be made fun. If everyone self isolates as much as possible, for 4 weeks, and applies high hygiene standards, then we will be through this a lot more quickly.

Stay strong, my friend. As I said, we WILL get through this!

Hugs xxx

Yeah, the situation sucks all around for everyone. I am hit financially but I know others are too. Misery loves company or something lol. I guess I feel like banks deserve to have the money they loaned paid back. I do have a savings but I am watching it dwindle.

The Governor of Minnesota issued a shelter in place starting at 11:59 PM on Friday. Essential services are still open and we can go outside for exercise with social distance.

I am glad to hear the NZ government is working for the people. The American government and the Minnesota government are actually doing great in my opinion. My state's governor is proceeding with caution and not making rash decisions.

I hope this all ends very soon. I literally have nothing to look forward too. Life is being cancelled all around and no one knows when it ends. It's hard to stay motivated. We will survive.

That stinks :-(

I knew you worked 2 jobs, but didn't realize you worked 3. I remember when I was working 3 jobs over 7 days. It stunk, but the pay (very low pay) was very much needed to pay the mortgage and just live. I sympathize and can only hope that this will soon all be over.

I think in a lot of ways us Kiwis are very blessed with the assistance we get, especially at times like this. We are also blessed that all of our political parties are working together to help us get through this. Our general elections are supposed to be this year, but none of them have mentioned it, and in fact the leader of the opposition stated that now isn't the time for that.

Hugs, xxx

No refunds. A couple races did go virtual but it isn't the same. The people who are completely out of work can apply for unemployment but I do still have my full time job and since I work more than 32 hours, no unemployment. I do not work 3 jobs for fun...And no, my mortgage isn't on hold.

Yeah, I understand that, and feel for you. Do they not have a package like in NZ whereby all those who have lost income as a result of the virus will be getting a package from the government? (hopefully the will help out) As well, the banks have all put a mortgage holiday on home-owners' mortgages for 6 months. Did you not get refunds from the cancelled races?

Yes - it would be good if we could see an end, however just remember, we are at the beginning of this. As our Director-General of Health stated, if everyone abides by the lock-down, then we won't see results for about 3 weeks, because there will still be those who have just returned to NZ, and are still returning to be quarantined for 2 weeks, before going to lock-down, and some of those will have the virus. If everyone plays their part, then the virus won't be able to spread. It will die out.

It's far better a bit of pain now, than a lot of pain further down the track because we didn't do what we should have. Mind you, I'm not lecturing you - I know that you use common sense. xxx

44 tonight.

My friend in Scotland FB videocalled me tonight. She was supposed to be coming over on the 1st but it looks like it will be a few days later re the airlines and the virus. That is, she will be coming over IF she can get to their international airport, because they have stopped flying from the northern part of Scotland, down. That was a planned cut (well before the virus reared it's ugly head), which at this time is dumb.

We went up to 205 this a.m. Still none serious, thank goodness. It appears the 4 who were tested in my Mum's town (where g/son and his fiance live) have tested positive. They are totally unrelated to each other, and all with a history of having just returned from overseas - all from different places. Our lock-down starts in just over 1/2 hrs.

I don't live in fear of it myself, but I do fear it. I fear what it CAN do.

10 again this morning

I had another race cancelled/postponed. They haven't determined which at this time; it's a 10 mile/16k in mid May.

I am just done with all of this. LOL. :) I think a lot of us are. Of course, it would be easier if we could just see a definitive end.

That's nice you got to see TJ and his family today. Sounds like he has quite the sweet tooth.

Wisconsin, which is the state to the east of Minnesota has a shelter in place order starting today at noon. They can still go do essential errands like grocery shopping and such and, most importantly, get outside and exercise. Of course, practising social distancing is a good idea.

Wisconsin has had 4 or 5 deaths and have more cases than we do. I only know of 1 death at this point. It was an 80+ year old man.

I personally do what I can to get outside daily. Fresh air and sunshine are important. I feel sad for the people who are too afraid to even go outside. I am choosing to not live in fear.

36 Points tonight.

155 Cases today and 4 of them were community spread cases.

My family, including TJ and his Mum and Dad came over this afternoon. I never new that they were all coming. It was lovely to see them, however we did practice being a few feet apart. I had Easter Eggs and Choc.Rabbits for Eli and TJ. When the little guy saw his, you should have seen/heard him. HUGE grin and a sharp intake of air at the same time. My daughter had a heap more Easter Eggs for him, so he went home with enough to sink a battle ship LOL!

All the Banks have come to the part in NZ and all those affected by loss of work will be able to get a 6 month stay on all mortgage payments. With that in place, I think my g/son and his fiance will be able to get through quite well, financially. We haven't heard about rent payments yet, tho'. My daughter and son-in-law rent their house.

The cases here continue to grow as well. Our governor has been on top of things and I am glad for that; he is staying level headed. We haven't had any level associated with it and I am thankful The Twin Cities aren't as densely populated as New York City, Los Angelos, and San Francisco. I truly think it's helping mitigate things to a degree.

You have community spread cases now? Ugh. This too shall pass and hopefully quickly.

No freezers in New York? Wow.

I hope you can celebrate your birthday, even if through social distancing.

We jumped to 102 cases at mid-day. Our Prime Minister, Jacinda Adern addressed the Nation on TV and Radio and live-streamed in the newspapers.

We have gone to a level 3, and on Wednesday will be a level 4. It appears that there have been a couple community spread cases.

My daughter phoned me quite concerned today, because it is my birthday in a few days, and she is adamant that they want to come out tomorrow after her work (caregivers only to prepare stuff that their adult mentally disabled charges can do at home) or during the day on Wednesday before the lock-down.

I see New York has run out of freezers, too.

Stay safe! xxx
