    11/29/2019 9:23:17 AM, by THRUTHESTORM

It's probably extremely predictable, but I feel off the tracking wagon as we moved into Thanksgiving with all the cooking, drinking, and enjoying extended family. I don't regret one second of it! I had such a wonderful Thanksgiving. I hope y'all did too. Now, back to tracking and back to accomplishi... Read more

I'm plugging along tracking my food, and I'm beginning to wonder if SP has my calories set right. I'll have to research some on that score. It seems that I'm typically about 500 calories under budget each day. I've actually gained a pound over this last week! What the?! Something ain't right. Toda... Read more

  • Tracking Tracking Tracking

... just keep tracking! This is good. It turns out that I'm not actually eating enough! I didn't realize that I was only eating about 1200-1400 calories a day. I'm not TRYING to not eat, but this oral surgery thing has thrown me off a bit, I guess. While I'm still recovering, I'm trying to focu... Read more

Follow up at the doctor.. the NA suggested that maybe diabetes was the cause for the sudden blood pressure and suggested the doctor order a A1c. Got it back by the time I was home. 6.0 So now with my HBP I can add a smidge of diabetes. Normal range is 4.0-6.0, so technically I’m still in the “norm... Read more

  • Hump Day, Still Tracking

    11/20/2019 11:31:27 AM, by THRUTHESTORM

I'm rather pleased to say I'm still tracking. The going was (is) tough a little bit there. I thought, "why bother?!" several times. Recovering from oral surgery is tough. I eat tiny meals, fairly often at this point. The good thing is that tracking all that really helps me understand why I'm hungry ... Read more

    11/18/2019 10:23:41 AM, by THRUTHESTORM

I drink a cup of coffee every morning. So, this morning I decided to track my morning coffee for every day until Sunday. That's one less thing to track. I love that I can plan ahead like that. :) Yesterday, I asked the community feed, "What motivates you?" I got the answer, "Life," twice. I find th... Read more

So I joined the group of nearly half of Americans with high blood pressure apparently. I'm on medication now. What I wanted to avoid. It hasn't lowered it enough so I'll most likely have to up the dosage. Lovely. I was trying to think about back in 2014 what got me losing weight in the f... Read more

My first time making this in the instapot. First cook the beef. Remove it and then cook the veggies in the liquid--in the instapot, too. It smells great! I removed the liquid from the beef and let the fat rise. I could slim it off before cooking the veggies. I will try to take a photo w... Read more

I have been seeing a chiropractor/physical therapist all summer. He cured mid back pain and upper back pain in 2 sessions. But the neck muscles, especially on one side, are not getting fixed. He says they spasm and have been building this problem for years. My hours on the computer don't help of cou... Read more
