This morning I got up an extra 45 minutes early to do a cardio DVD. And made a Eggbeaters/spinach omlette for breakfast. Yea!
This afternoon I got too hungry and ate too much for dinner. Boo!
I'm sticking with my goal of getting up early 5 days this week to do cardio before starting my workday. And I've learned that I need to schedule an Outlook appointment for snacks.
I got busy, tense, and didn't look up long enough to eat a snack. A 4:00 meeting ran late, and I was really hungry when I left work. Stopped at my favorite Mexican restaurant for soup . . . and ended up eating tortilla chips on the way home. And instead of eating just the soup, I ate 2 tortillas with the soup. Good grief - this was a big meal, and not well-thought out. I should have had soup and veggies to stay on track.
Since I'm working hard to pack a nutritious lunch and eat my 2 fruits and 2 veggies each day, I need to find ways to curb my impulsive behavior. I live my life according to Outlook, so I may as well schedule my snacks according to Outlook. Lesson learned.
