Yeah, the Duck is still alive. I didn't shoot 'em.

Okay, other than shopping trips to the thrift store I have not rewarded myself. Time for that to change. I got my eye brows waxed & tweezed today. (Is that a rward or torture) Well, it was worth the torture my brows look fabulous! It only cost $7.00 at the local Cosmetology School. Tomorrow I am going for a facial & Chemical peel. (Peeling & waxing are generally terms I would think of when I think Rewards) I get to relax for an hour & I also get a mini-massage. I've never had a "Spa day". Boy, do I need it. Work has been crazy & my blood pressure was High today. I suspect it has been high all week.

So, I KNOW to avoid Salt, right?? Right? (Lucy, you got some splaining to do!!!! ) I know better. I had French fries, I had Chicken nuggets. I had a Cheese burger from Burger King! I had Hypoglycemia from skipping Breakfast which lead to poor judgement. I have some good Yogi Detox Tea that should help.

I have really been exercising lately. I unburied my Elliptical machine. Apparently, it was angry at me for ignoring it. It kicked my Butt good!!! By minute 5 I was dying & wanted to quit. I my Friends am no quitter. I jogged on that bad boy for an hour on levels 2-4. YEAH!!! Then, I did crunches, belly rolls & weight lifting. Last night I went swimming & did water weights. I learned this hanging off the side of the pool & kicking move from watching someone else do it. Yeah, my back is feeling it! I have been drinking 10-12 cups of Water a day. All this good behaviour you would think the scale would show a loss. It showed a 1 pound gain. Ha! Just gotta laugh. I was bad today, watch tomorrow will show a loss.

I am challenging myself to do a Spin class. There is one next Wednesday at 7 p.m. If I dontt so it I want you all to Boo me on my page. I mean it! I can take it! If I dont come back just send me an 'RIP', as that will mean between my new Belly dance Teacher & Spin class Teacher, they managed to do me in. Lol!

I have to say, there are some really interesting & cool people on Spark. Thanks for being accepting of me, for supporting me. (Oh, someone get me a Midol, this Blog is gettin' a little Sappy) Hope everyone stopped by Patti's place & wished her a Happy Un- Birthday. (Crazy Lady) I have had Writers block & have not Blogged in a bit. Well, we can see that's cured. Have a good weekend Sparkly Friends : )

    spinning! oh my gosh. it is pretty intense, and it'll hurt your butt like crazy, but it is worth it. i'll boo you if you don't at least try it! :)

    It sounds like you had a full day. And are gonna have some more fun days!!! As for me...well I think I told you that I joined Curves 4 months ago, and I did some research and found that at other CUrves, they have what is called a smart curves which has computers attached to your equipment, that says if you are working out hard enough, what your heart rate is, and how many calories you will be buring. Well I mentioned this to my CUrves and the just recently got theirs in. The owner are still training on how it works, so we have not actually been able to work with it. All I know is they had me do just 1 machine and you have to work hard to keep it in the green, cause if it goes in the yellow that means you are not working hard enough......after this is all said and done, I might regret mentioning this to them.....LOL

    I'm with ya on givin yourself a spa day reward. I only have one lb to lose to get to one of my small term goals, then I get a pedicure/leg massage!

    Yogi Tea ROCKS!!!!! I love the henna designs on the new labels. thanks for reminding me to drink my green tea w/ kombucha for immune/defense. If i drink too much of the green tea for energy I get jittery, and we all know I don't need more reasons to pace the floor. L O L! (winks)

    Ooo, a spa day sounds sublime. I do water aerobics and spin. I tend to be drawn to the instructors that scream at me. The great thing about the water is that it's a cardio and strength..especially with the barbells. If your gym has ankle weights, give em a try. (water weights float to give resistance under water) I do a 2 hr spin class on Sundays..If I can Spin..you can spin! Let me know how it goes.~hugs from the Dark
