Challenge Start Day!

So I split the middle of my highs and lows this month and weighed in at 210.4 today. Not great, but it's a starting place and it's only down from here.
I was looking something up yesterday and I saw an article on eating too few calories and unintentionally starving yourself. I thought as long as I was eating over 1200 I was ok, but I guess when you factor in my current weight and activity level, I burn a heck of a lot more than that. So along with changing up my cardio and incorporating strength, I'm going to try to eat a little more on average.
I want to try to eat a little more for breakfast and maybe a bigger afternoon snack unless I just eat something more calorific for a meal. I do often find myself getting hungry is late afternoon/early evening and since I don't usually eat dinner until about 9pm, I guess I shouldn't expect a piece of fruit to carry me 8 hours but it was hard to justify more when I only had around 1200 calories to play with.
I guess I just have to keep trying different approaches until I find one that works for me again and allows me to do the amount of exercise I currently am. My legs are looking hot and the rest of my body isn't far behind. I often feel like a coiled spring lately, just ready at a moments notice to bounce around, and I love that feeling! I haven't been there... since college? Maybe even high school?
Anyways, enough navel gazing. I really am rambly today.
