Maya (the trainer on Yourself Fitness) kicked my butt in a great way last night. I haven't been this sore in a while. I'm going to definitely keep incorporating her workouts into my fitness plan. At first I'm going to try replacing 30 mins of my cardio Monday and Wednesday with her routine and doing 15 mins Tuesday and Friday for strength training. I might decide to switch the Tuesday/Friday stuff to other days after my cardio because like tonight, I'm getting a ride home from work from a friend that's hanging out (a normal Tuesday thing, the hanging out, not the ride home), so I either have to skip my workout or shoo the group into the other room so I can have the living room to do my thing. I hate to be a neurotic pain in the ass about it, but once I start making excuses it just gets easier and easier to keep making them. Especially with something I'm not comfortable with and that sorta kicks my butt. Also, it might be nice to have at least a day I don't do any sort of structured work out, but I'm not entirely sure...

At least I was down a bit this morning - 210.8. I won't be doing a long workout tonight, but I should be on the low side of my calorie range and will be moving around a lot singing so hope that helps. At least I have tomorrow before my first weigh in for the BLC!

    Hey, good luck with the BLC! I love anybody who's all about making themselves sore with a workout. What can I say, I belong in Bedlam (or in some de Sade memoir... they ought to make a Biggest Loser: Masochist's Edition and I'd buy it).
