Who's that Girl??/2nd Blog today??

Saturday, January 05, 2008

Oops! Well, ro prove my imperfection, I accidentally deleted Rosemarie's coment. I did not mean to. Was trying to click on her page to thank her. JANE!!!!!!!!!! She is a cool chic. So she will understand!

Well, she looks kinda familiar. I knew her at one time. She is a better person now. Not perfect. But, What is perfect?? Something over rated I think. This was me something like 18 months ago. Not my heaviest. This is one of the VERy few pics. I allowed to be taken of myself at that size. WHY?? Because I had no confidence, not really. Being skinny does not gain a person confidence. I believe that seeing that we can achieve something that has felt unachieveable, that being more than you thought you could be. Deciding that we are worth it. No matter what size we are. Well, I call that success, not perfection. Hell, who needs the pressure to be perfect? Not I, my friends! Patience & support! The most important things. That is my best advice. Good luck, my Friends! 2 blogs in 1 day?? Well, what else can I say?

I totally agree that being thin doesn't automatically make you "such and such" a happy person. Being overweight has added complications to my life, and so choosing a healthier lifestyle has given me a better chance of a longer life. Perhaps even a better understanding of myself, and the community & world around me.

Every person has the chance to pursue their own form of happiness, and I am proud of your accomplishments toward the lifestyle/happiness that you have chosen.

I also happen to like the "moderation angle." I enjoy having an adult beverage responsibly, as long as it doesn't put me over my calorie limit that day ((wink)).

you have my support 100% ! habibi, my beautiful friend!
