Sleep... or lack there of...

Friday, November 30, 2007

I NEED MORE SLEEP!!!!! I just can't seem to get to bed before midnight and 5:30 comes way too soon. Part of the problem is there are shows I like that come on at 10 and the other is with Mark not getting home until about 9:30 he needs to unwind and I stay up with him. But then he usually ends up in bed before me while I finish up the kitchen and stuff.

I have tried to DVR my shows and watch them later but I usually don't. That shows how important they are right? LOL... In some ways this Hollywood writers strike might be to my benefit, all the shows will be reruns soon and I can go to bed! LOL

I have fallen asleep on the couch 3 out of 5 mornings this week. And I probably would have yesterday too but a friend popped up on MSN and we started chatting. Sleeping for a couple hours in the morning takes a lot of time out of my day. Not that I seem to get much done anyway but that really cuts back on the time I do have to get things finished.

I really need to get things done earlier but I just can't seem to. The 11:00 news comes one and I start running around trying to get things done so I can go to bed. But I could have done it all earlier and just had to add my glass and maybe a dish if Mark has a snack when he gets home. I remember a time when I got things done and things looked better around the house but I just get lost going from one thing to another and I don't seem to finish any of them.

What I need is to go back to work so I can afford to get someone in to clean once a week then everyone will be happy. But I'll still be tired.. Ugh...

I too find so much to do right at the time I should be getting into bed! Not sure why I don't clean the kitchen right afer dinner, but it seems to get put off... hopefully we can both find balance and get rest!
