trying again

I have decided that since the roller coaster called my life is going to stay a roller coaster I had just better learn how to exercise and eat right on a roller coaster and quit complaining and making excuses!! Thank you to those who have encouraged me through comments, emails, etc - your support means soooo much. Thank you for your thoughts and prayers as well. My father in law did pass away - but he was in so much distress and pain the week before - it is a blessing. My dear niece has a new tumor - she is fighting so hard - I really don't know what to say - other than I believe her life and struggle has a higher purpose - she is one of the most sweet and pure people there could ever be.
I am determined to get myself back into a more fit condition - for myself - for my family - for those I need to help. I know I can do it - one step at a time - one less bite at a time - one spark at a time.

Don't only get fit for your family and people that you can and will help - although that is a good thing. Get fit for you. Use it as YOUR TIME OUT! Your time to re-charge and be you, with no expectations. You said ..." You love to help people, but have a hard time letting them help you.....", well be kind to yourself one step, one day at a time and give yourself treats when you reach milestones.

You can do it and if I can help or you want to talk, vent, be inspired, whatever - give me a shout.

    God Bless

Oh Kris, I'm so sorry to hear about your niece, if I am reading this correctly the only thing I can say is "prepare for the worst, but hope for the best" as you know (from my own life story) miracles do happen in modern day times.....I continue to send prayers out to your family.

Now, on a lighter note......the roller coaster....I better learn how to eat & exercise while doing the wild ride of life as well. Michael's pysch test is tomorrow, we'll finally find out if we're dealing with a learning or behavorial disability or just plain have a stubborn (excuse me spirited) child who will do what he wants when he wants and how he wants it! LOL

Speaking of spirited, how's Keith doing these days? tee hee
