I survived.... LOL

Thanksgiving was smaller this year. Only had 2 of the kids and our DIL. It's the first holiday she has spent with us. I think they ate at her moms earlier, neither one of them ate much.

Dinner was later then I was planning, the turkey took the longer time to cook of course.. And that was after it was an hour late going in the oven because I had a pie in there that I hadn't gotten done on Wed. I did lighten some recipes and was happy with the dressing and pumpkin pie but not so much with my cranberry cheese bars. I can taste the Splenda in them.

We went over to Julia's (DIL's mom) for dessert after dinner. It was fun but I probably ate more there then I would have at home and I know I had no idea of calories on a couple things I tried.

I think the best thing this year was Mark actually helped clean up!

    Hey Dormmate!
Thanks for sharing how your Thanksgiving went. You got thru it and that is what counts. You also spent it with family and that is fab!
    Best to you.
