Today I bought myself a pretty new mask (and a new hairslide) as a non-food reward.
And I said to the shop-lady "who'd have thought we'd be buying new masks as a 'treat'!" She runs a lovely kind of accessory shop, I think we used to call them 'milliners'; places that sell hats, scarves, costume jewellery etc.
I have a system for my masks - I hang them on a coat-hanger; one with the kind of pegs at each end for trousers usually. And I rotate them, so they all get used. I noticed there were some that I continually overlook - think "no, not that one" and they are perhaps not pretty, or not comfortable on the ear, or too homemade looking!
When I got home, I looked at my mask collection and took out four that I no longer wear! And put them in the recycling. De-cluttering masks!
PS I'm aiming to revive an old blog I have on Blogger - there's nothing very interesting there yet, but if you want to check me out, and perhaps keep in touch that way, then you can find me at
