About a month ago, I realized that something was off in my life. My mind was not functioning as well as it had in the recent past. My memory wasn't working well, I'd forget words and sometimes I'd think one word, but a different word came out of my mouth. I decided to take charge of my health. Here is what I did:
1. Get Enough Sleep. Sleep should be a top priority.
2. Schedule a Physical Exam and talked to my doctor about the symptoms.
3. Kept track of my BP and my blood sugar levels, as I struggle with Type 2 Diabetes.
4. Lowered my stress level.
I've seen what happens when people ignore a problem. The problem just grows, and the person pays the consequences. I'm lowering my stress. My blood sugar levels are lower. I'm starting to feel better.
