*found ways to save money (vegetable garden, etc.)
*advocated for my sister and our needs when dad didn't want to spend the money
*saved S&H Green stamps from the grocery store to buy special things
*took my sister and I to a boysenberry patch to pick boysenberry's
*was an only child
*had a big heart but could hold her own - a tough cookie
*diagnosed with cancer at 57
I still miss her to this day. There are so many things I would like to tell her now, especially as I have gotten older and gained a different outlook about her struggles throughout the years. I know that she is with me in spirit and I lift my eyes up to let her know I love her and have faith even during the darkest of times.
