Saturday, April 24, 2021

Starting Weight Saturday April 3: 190.6
Goal Weight: 181.1
5% Goal: 9.5lb
Time Zone: Eastern

Week 1 4/10: 189.2

Week 2 4/17: 187.8 wed 4/21 186

Week 3 4/24: 181.2 24hr flu

Never in all my life I have I had to cope with that level of full body pain. I have no clue what hit, was it food poison? It hit hard at 11:20 pm of emptying tummy. that is the nices way of say the most excruciating pain. By am it felt like shards of glass were slicing and dicing stomach as it attempted to empty nothing.

I have never had food poison before. I pray never ever again. Every muscle hurt, hence why i think a flu.. still no clue how I would have caught it..
after a long day of pain, the only blessing was passing out between awareness of pain.

I woke up the following evening at 11:30 pm with no pain.. WOOOHOOOO

what a reminder of how awesome it is to live each day pain free! ! To often this can be taken for granted..

Ironically my goal this week was to reach the 185 I had been dreaming of achieving for over 2 decades. Flew beyond that number to the 181. This week will be interesting to see where my body settles after it feels better..
funny the idea of reaching that 185 felt so exclusive, now, The excitement is settling in to reach into the 170's
in every experience find the silver lining LMAO
if the weight loss hold, I reached my 5% in 3 weeks bahahaha

Whatever it was, yikes, and I'm glad you're past it and appreciating new days without that pain. Fortunately, I haven't had to deal with something like that in many years, but I DO remember the post-incident weigh-ins to see how much I'd lost. Now it's time to remember the self-care as you celebrate that major nudge down on the scale.

    Bless your heart.

I was once told there's no real 24-hour stomach flu, it's almost always food poisoning. Be safe, stay hydrated and I hope you feel better.
