Week 13: Progress Report - down 0.8 lbs!
Sunday, April 04, 2021
Woohoo! I didn't get a chance to weigh myself this morning (was visiting family and completely forgot), so I used my weight from Friday AM, and I'm down 0.8 lbs. Which is great actually because that was all before the Easter weekend of eating! lol. Not sure if I get on the scale tomorrow that I'll still be posting a loss, but I'm already getting back into the normal swing of things again.
This last week I took my real estate course exam and passed it. Woohoo! So I took a study hiatus for Wednesday through Saturday.
And scheduled my state exam (coming up in a couple weeks now), so back to studying again. Just took a practice exam this afternoon and got a 79% which I think will only improve with more practice exam taking. One of the drawbacks to taking the real estate classes totally via an online forum, is that I think I've missed out on Q&A sessions that arise from the lectures normally - so I am making up for that with the practice tests which i've been told is the best way to study for the state exam.
No news on Marley my kitty yet. Fingers crossed. He seems to be acting reasonably normal, but now that I've got him under a microscope all the time - I'm not sure. Still waiting test results..
Got two nice long walks in with my family around their neighborhood. Nothing too strenuous, but counts for activity. I had intended multiple times last week after work to go hiking in a park near my office - but didn't make it any of the three days I tried. Two days I had quite the headache after work, and the other day I was just flat out too tired. Tuesdays and Fridays are usually the best days for me, so I'll pack my stuff to bring to work this week on Tuesday and see if I can't make that happen this week. It's good for my body but also good for my brain to get out and into some nature during the week.
The 5% Spring Challenge got started on Saturday, so I'm officially in a SparkChallenge now! Posted my points on the challenge, and I'm on my way!
Ok time for me to go sketch out my upcoming week - it's going to be busy with three teaching conferences I have to do this week, in addition to working. But the great news is that I will be on vacation the week after that! Just staying home - so a staycation really, but I'm *really* looking forward to the break. And that's the week of my exam. Hoping to get some other home-related projects done that week too.
Ok, that's it for this week. Have a good week!
