This week has been really long. Monday another dear friend from church family passed away. She has been in a nursing home for just over a year with no visitors allowed. She was so full of life and spunk. She was 92 -- just a month away from her birthday. She was a real character who had a heart of gold. She could still dance and kick her legs up to shoulder height just before going into the nursing home. She and Ed had a very special friendship too - he loved her bluntness and how she could be feisty without being mean or nasty.
The kids have been wound up with Easter coming and really difficult. I am so tired after a day at school, I can barely stay awake for dinner.
I am also on the between week. My sister's birthday was last week and my son Michael's is next week. Other than my son Ed they were the two people with whom I had the most love and tightest friendships with. Birthdays and death dates are always tough on me.
I am looking forward to the start of the Spring 5% Challenge and Shooting for the Stars with the best team ever - The Shooting Stars!
Be blessed and have an awesome day tomorrow!
